That wasn’t competition.
That was send middle school kids into the batters box to face MLB pros.
Then trying to shame the kids into accepting the mistreatment.
Yeah college teams don’t face NFL teams to get good. Lol someone used boxing and martial arts as an example the other day. I boxed for years and have 2 black belts. Amateur fighters never fought pros. White belts don’t square off in any type of serious matches against black belts.
When there’s massive divide in skill, there’s no learning phase occurring until things are slowed down and repeated. Streamers were making videos 2 years ago about the stacks pub stomping in quick play and how it was bad for PVP.
I have the upmost respect for any high end PVP player. They put a lot of time and effort into becoming that dominate player taking over matches. With that said they don’t belong in the kiddie pool.
Understood.
Those of us with real world sports experience understand the need to dial it back where there is a big skill/speed/strength gap because of the risk of injury to others.
Well only thumbs and egos are injured in a game but the skill gap is big so most players aren’t getting better in those circumstances and are improving when given a fair shake.
I’m facing people better than me in every match but within reason and the better players are facing player that aren’t as good but within reason. The matches are more competitive with less stomps.
