Not only is this probably the worst and most boring seasonal activity ever designed, but the progression of weekly challenges is tied to guardians fighting each other’s over throwing engrams at the haul.
The result is an activity where players come and go; no one cares about anything but throwing engrams to the haul to get rid of their weekly challenges, and most players leave as soon as the last “treasure” is thrown.
Please refrain from investing time and energy into this type of activity.

That sounds like a very frustrating experience. I'd like to see Bungie stop making activities where progression isn't shared across team mates. For this example, any treasure thrown should count for everyone in the instance. That would eliminate the need for us to compete against each other for who can run fastest to the engram. For a game that espouses team work and the need to play like a team, there is very rarely any reward for team work, and the game design actively discourages it often.
