Twitter the game.
On the bright side I hear the gameplay can be fun.
Twitter the game.
Thats a weird take. Elaborate?

It's just what I've seen it called.

From who? I've seen a bit on the game and nothing really screamed Twitter to me. It's like goofy GTA about a military vet who turns to crime and fights a bunch of Batman villain gangs or something.

So the set up is these four 20-somethings living in an apartment who belong to different gangs (which by itself doesn’t make any sense but w/e) aren’t doing very well for themselves financially and so decide to form their own gang to rival the others and make more money. The story is peppered with the main characters ‘caring’ about one another’s feelings and wellbeing with no set-up other than “these people live together; care about them because do it”, annoying one-liners about “late-stage capitalism” and other pretend-woke sound bites used in the most moronic ways. It’s not done in a preachy way so the Twitter analogy is definitely off, but it is shoehorned in pretty awkwardly and with no motivation or set up. This could all be played ironically to much comedic effect, and had it been one of the previous games, it would have been. Instead it isn’t, and looks painfully like someone in their fifties made a list of all the things ‘rebellious’ young adults would relate to and stuck them in a generic gang plot about camaraderie and rising through the ranks of the underground.

So it's actually Facebook the Game.

Youtubers and a couple of reviews I found while trying to see if I should even bother with the game. I just found it to be a funny comparison and I can kind of agree with it.
