if you pre-ordered lightfall, I can tell you this: me and some others are trying our best to get the info going, bumping any posts that speak about something that sounds like this issue and hopefully make it get addressed and ideal situation, make it a top priority. however, due to Bungie's tight lipped nature about stuff like this, it makes it difficult to know if they are aware or yet to notice an issue. so all I can say friend is, until Bungie makes an official statement about the issue and deploy a fix, the only way to fix it on your end (unless you got the collectors edition) is to cancel and refund the pre-order. i know, it sucks, but it doesn't help that there hasn't been any news about this on Bungies end.

It takes about 30 sec or 40 for that to happen to me, but that was like between 3-7 sec. Wow, well, thank fully it has finally come to their attention. They are investigating with Sony. Talking with someone who has the same issue is thinking that it might take 3 weeks before we see a fix, and that’s for a thorough investigation and to make a fix that will make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Edited by PerdurObo: 9/6/2022 4:20:31 AMI hope that’s not true because I’m giving them until Thursday…and then I’m done with the game forever…I have 10,000 hours of playtime and lots and lots of money sunk into this game…I absolutely love it and (some of)the community…but to let an error this GIGANTIC be let into the wild without being properly tested…and then be completely uncommunicative about it…when the ONLY THING WE were doing is trying to be good customers…it’s such a GIANT slap in our faces that it just has my stomach in knots…I’m gonna hate to quit but it seems like they are just going to continue to do this to their most dedicated players OVER and OVER and OVER again…I really hope they prove me wrong, but I’m certainly not holding my breath. If the only solution is to “get a refund” and re-download….they will NEVER get my money back. At this point just because of the lack of communication I have decided regardless of if it’s fixed by Thursday…I will NEVER buy silver in the game EVER again…because it was specifically to “augment” quality and quality control…I’ve bought ALOT of silver….that is DONE. And for a guy who never says never…Bungie sure has me saying it a lot these last couple of days.

I have this feeling I’ll be finding out soon enough…..and really all Bungie would have to do to help alleviate this would be to REACH OUT to us and try to put our minds at ease…because I hate to say it but if you are still playing D2 on a PS4 (because you CAN’T GET a PS5) I would say you are the MOST DEDICATED of players…and It seems they just can’t be BOTHERED to acknowledge the problem and give us a timetable so WE(who have already spent $$$$$$$$) can know when we can access what we paid for…..

Also let’s remember this is all happening in forum of the company who claims they “care” about their community….but essentially they haven’t even officially acknowledged the problem yet. They did change the Lightfall advertisement screen so that it doesn’t include the exotic auto rifle anymore
