I mean you can cap all the zones you want it’s not going to win the game just running around the map capturing flags.

The game mode is called CONTROL meaning control the zones to win the game you don't need more kills than the enemy, just more points -
Edited by RabbitEars: 9/2/2022 3:44:09 AMDo you notice that in Control your kill points are double and/or tripled depending on the flags captured? By just capturing a flag does not give you points. It’s the kills that get you the points. All you need are two flags and CONTROL them. Please learn how objective game types work before babbling.

Actually capturing a flag does give points. Try standing on a zone with 6 players versus yourself.

Kills don't win games, flags do, a team that has 1 flag all game will lose to a team that has 2 flags 95% of the time, you CAN go around capturing every flag to win actually, but you can't ignore flags and focus on kills and expect to win, funny how "bad" players are actually better at the game than "good" players -

Yes.....that's exactly what I said.....control the zones to win, learn how to read before coming at me -
I mean you can cap all the zones you want it’s not going to win the game just running around the map capturing points.
With this reasoning, would you say you prefer zone control? If a team captures one zone for the entirety of the match, the odds of them winning are variable depending on the skill level of the other team- in SBMM’s ideal matchmaker, maintaining one cap will result in your team more often than not losing The multiplier is crucial and is almost a complete dictator on who wins the match; therefore, it is important to capture points, especially now that you get a score based on how many players are standing with you in the control area. You can speculate that you can’t win on just running around, but avoiding them all together will bring about the same outcome.

You can get two captures and win the game in control. I don’t think people realize that your points do not go up upon capturing zones. The zones are point add ons to your kills. Two flags capture plus two, three flags capture plus three to the kills. Going around trying to capture every zone and dying is what’s making people lose the game and not understanding all you need is to capture two flags and lock them down. Also with teammates just running around capturing every flag messes up the spawn points and the enemy team can get their foot in the door because our team wasn’t set up for the spawn switch. There’s a lot more factors that go into control than capturing a flag
I mean you can cap all the zones you want it’s not going to win the game just running around the map capturing points.
Do you actually understand why zones are important I think not and now skills are closer zones are more important.. Probably best if you understood this because when games are close the extra points you get from controlling and capture of multiple zones means the difference between a win and a loss .. It’s probably too much for the sweats to understand because they are only one trick ponies
