Afford Nothing. I just can't Find a PS5 anywhere. to hell with Xbox. never liked the games or controller so it was not for me. as for PC. Pfft no thanks. I don't feel like updating components or Programs every few weeks. and with the current ongoing shortages a new GPU is like 4x what it was. Yeah no. I picked a PlayStation. But With the way the PS5 was rolled out. I am unable to locate one of the Buggers. Money is not the issue for me. For me it is the fact I (being the damn Idiot that I am) Saw the pre-order for the game I have been enjoying the hell out of since Alpha. and being the sucker I am for Collectors Items Said vary loudly "Yes Please" Got my Pre-order Code E-mailed. put it in. and for the Last DAMN week have been unable to play the game I just doped $$$ on. all because I wanted the Pre-order. I know i am not. But if really ****ing feels like I am being actively Punished for Liking Destiny 2. And that Bungie can't be bothered to Bot out a meaningless automated message of "We Are Aware of this issue." they could end that sentence with "F**K You! Got Mine. Eat it B**h!" And I would be ok with it. Because at least it would be a response. (i would Instantly get a refund uninstall and quit the game if they said that. as anyone would.) So for the love of F**K Please Someone at Bungie. Anyone. the Janitor even. Please acknowledge this issue please. that way I can maintain the Delusion you are going to fix it maybe.   • I understand the frustrations mate. i honestly do. if we are lucky, there might be something said about this within the next two weeks, if not at least something by the end of the month. just hope they get the fix done in good time, cause the season is ending like 95 days, but loosing a few weeks in D2 is gonna be a catch up run.

  • Just for Information sake. (and its a Rant. buckle up and laugh at the Freak) This is what happens to a Collector's Edition Pre-Order of Lightfall as it is with this issue. Contacted Sony. Via help chat. they gave the standard trouble shooting script. None of it works. (no fault on their end) aug 25th Made a help request via Bungie Store customer service (automated E-mail that said: "We are currently receiving an unprecedented number of customer service tickets. As a result, it is currently taking our team longer than normal to respond.") [i] *Sent Aug 25th.*[/i] Time passes. Today (sep 1st) Called Sony help Via Phone. after 4 hours of total hold time and one department transfer. The Sony agent, By no fault of her own. Informed me that there was nothing they could do,. because I had already done all the trouble shooting steps. and that any kind of resolution would have to be done by the Developer because the code was a voucher sent from Bungie. and to Contact Bungie to try and resolve this. As we all know. there is no way to directly contact Bungie. no number no e-mail. The only phone number is for the PR department for Streamers and the like. as I am no one. Nor does this even fall in that wheel house. that Method is completely pointless. Now Today sept first. I got my Response e-mail from Bungie store customer service. and boy did I feel insulting by it. [i]"Thank you for contacting the Bungie Store merchandise shop. Please note that the Bungie Stores are dedicated to Bungie merchandise. Meaning I am SOL. so to TL:DR this up I am F**ked. and have No option But to wait it out. and thanks to Bungies FOMO model. Miss out on possibly everything this season has. No Quests to run. no raid, no story, no gear, no weapons, no events. cant get any cosmetic crap I find looks sool. I cant get brightdust via bounty's And I can not earn my seasonal rewards that I have already paid for. along with the Pre-Order items that. Again. I -blam!- Paid for. So right now. all I can do is sit and seethe. every moment increasing my Rage more and more. Until This problem is fixed and I can play again. But it is my fault right? Because I am not faster than Bots in getting a Ps5. So yeah F**K me. I play on PS4. and thank you Bungie for being so Damn Ontop of things.

If they are aware of the issue then why in Zeus’ balls are they STILL selling the pre-order?

  • Simple answer? Money. Long complicated answer? It takes money to make these things. To pay employees. To pay all the overhead. I understand this. So I know removing the ability to get the pre-order is a non starter. Still sucks. But I get it. Not saying I totally disagree with you though.

Not saying I totally disagree with you though.[/quote] Totally agree with you about the money thing…however, if they are mapping the game out for the next 4 years or so, and they REALLY want the money..why would they jeopardize it by pissing off the people who are early backers to their Lightfall Kickstarter(essentially)….I know unless they fix this AND give us some free stuff to compensate for a REALLY BAD MISTAKE I will never preorder another Yearly season pass ever again….seems counterproductive to me. Bungie also just made 3.6 billion dollars when Sony acquired them…it’s starting to seem like no earthly number will ever be enough for them to just test the stuff out a little bit(because it’s very EVIDENT they do absolutely none right now…it only gets tested when it gets PLAYED by the general public)…pretty silly when you think about it.

  • at this point, it is very understandable why the rage keeps building. the only hope we got is that the issue finally gets addressed in 2 weeks time or before the end of the month, then shortly after a fix. if that happens, I'll gladly help ya out with catching up.
