Pretty much agree with almost all of this. Sad that it's getting no attention because casual robots don't care or want to improve because that would be admitting they aren't that good. I sucked majorly in D1 and early D2 as well. My old stats prove this. I got stomped in D1 Trials and D2 Trials of the Nine. Getting stomped pushed me to improve and now I've made it to the Top 500 in multiple game modes. Improving like this was among the most satisfying gameplay that I've ever had because I learned and improved. Sadly, your post will continue to be ignored by both the overwhelmingly casual D2 community and Bungie themselves. They do not care for good players unless they can be put on a camera, told to dance for an audience, monetized, and made to have Bungie and their dying PvP side look good. Good players and their feedback are not desired by Bungie because it's always the exact opposite of what PvP changes Bungie has done so far.

  • You're literally crying because you have to play against opponents similar to your own skill...

  • Is all you do is parrot this tired lie? Get some new rhetoric from kellygreen45 maybe since you have no original thoughts of your own.

  • Thats clearly what the issue is, not wanting to sweat when playing others somewhat similar in skill. Maybe stop complaining considering most of the playerbase left pvp due to having to sweat nonstop, and still almost never have fair or close games in the slightest.

Nah, shut up with your BS lies. I've mained Comp since it was added and gotten to the top 500 in the original SBMM playlist. All I've done is play and beat people better than me and sweat. You have nothing and no lies left to parrot to try to devalue my skill and blame CBMM instead of yourself. Get some better lies and try again.

  • Ok and now you get to play against others in your skill bracket, so why are you upset? With cbmm you could match with anyone and that was the problem...so you'd rather beat on lower skilled players. If thats not the case, why are you upset about playing others somewhere within your own skill bracket?

  • I always played against people within my skill bracket, stop lying and putting words in my mouth. "Durrrr you're just mad you gotta try now!" is so tiring and unoriginal. That's all you people have. Did you ever complain when you got easier matches? Whenever you played Control, you just beat on lower-skilled players!

  • If you didnt have a problem with playing almost exclusively within your own skill bracket, then you' d have no problem with sbmm. Clearly thats exactly what this post is about, complaining about playing within their skill bracket, and not getting easy stomps. Also yes...I'd much rather prefer even close games rather than a bring stomp. Its more exciting and fun overall to get the chance to push myself, but still stand just a good a chance at winning as my opponents...

All you people do is argue from something people never said and try to moral high horse on us for it, which is why you continually spew the "you just want to beat worse players!" lie. I'm done wasting time on robots who don't play PvP telling me how PvP works and how I'm wrong and bad and never really was good anyways.

  • What lie? sbmm puts you with teammates relative to yourself, and your opponents correspond relatively to them. You said you agree with OP, and hes literally just complaining about playing with those within his bracket. As if we dont already match with others somewhat above or below us... The problem is he wants matchmaking wider to make matches easier, because he doesnt want to sweat in every match due to where his skill lv is at. "Over catering to casuals and bad players kills games." -OP Really?! So sbmm is now over catering, even though everyone is weighted and matched accordingly.... If you were as good as you say, you'd have no issue simply playing with those around your lv, rather than wanting matches where you can punch down on lower skill opponents lol. Then he goes on a tangent about how weapons shouldnt be change because controller is INHERENTLY inferior to mnk for movements, and weapon accuracy. Less than 3 weeks and the vast greater majority of complaints from "high skill players" is just them complaining about not being able to punch down and actually having to play sweaty games against others like them.
