Launch the game fine and get to the character select screen. Without fail, whatever character I select will give me a Pardon our Dust when I reach the orbit screen. It will then give me a second 'Pardon our Dust' message and return me to the title screen. I assumed it was just maintenance globally (there is maintenance but it's backend - unrelated). I ask 5 other people and not one of them has this issue. I've tried to troubleshoot it myself with the following methods:
- Restart game
- Restart router/internet
- Use a VPN
- Verify game files
Edit: After the update, I got two error codes (Chicken and then Weasel). I launched again and got into the game finally.

Hello, I had this issue for a little while as well. When I first got the message, I was on Stadia. Then when I went to Xbox, it kept bringing up "Pardon Our Dust". I ended up re-launching the Stadia version, which started up just fine. I logged off then went back to Xbox and haven't had any problems since. Hopefully this works for you, too.

4 RepliesIf you have already preordered lightfall, this might be your issue. You have to go manage your files. Download all the lightfall files, and you should be able to log in successfully.
