Damage doesnt make fun.
I'd sacrifice the arcstaff yeet damage anyday for arc warlock builds.

Option 1) you’re at the nightfall boss, your team is down and there are two champs left. You stun them both, pop chaos reach, barely manage to eek out enough damage to kill 1, the second champ unstuns and kills you. Team wipe. Option 2) you’re at the nightfall boss, your team is down and there are two champs left. You stun them both, pop chaos reach, nuke both champs, slide teleport into a res, your buddies both unload on the boss. Ascendant shards rain like candy. You telling me these would both be the same amount of fun?

To be honest players that know what they're doing would be using mods and weapons to kill both champs without panic supering in pve. Sundering glare exists, maybe even the jolt mod if you're not on arc.

Does nova bomb not do good dmg cuz I thought it does
-
Yeas it does good damage. But when you compare all the warlocks supers to the other two classes without any exotics on any class mind you the warlocks supers are weaker in every comparison. And I think that is where most warlocks are upset and say buff. Yes there a more build options but luck/rng is the biggest hurdle to matching close to any other class without an exotic because if you have -blam!- armor stats builds are worthless
-
If I remember tge numbers right, nova does mediocre damage compared to just pinging away with an LFR. If tge target has a debuff, then it just barely squeaks into the okay range, but still gets outdone by LFR shots. Meanwhile chaos reach, even with geomags, is by far the worst dedicated dps super, by a couple hundred thousand points of damage. Shadebinder super sucks in anything harder than an adept nightfall too. In the endgame, well is the only viable warlock super, and thats just really boring and repetative. Warlocks *need* something to give them options to diversify their loadouts in the endgame, whether thats a buff to chaos reach damage (the easiest option) or tweaking some stuff on nova bomb

Edited by cam09261: 9/1/2022 4:11:48 PMIn damage supers I agree they need better but endgame stasis locks are very good so is void if built into properly
-
They don't need anything, the players need to get their head out of their azzes and realize the design. The entire class is support.

I'd rather have fun than do more damage.
-
So of there was a weapon that did 200 million damage per shot You wouldn't use it?, sounds pretty fun to me
-
Like i said. I'd rather have fun buildcrafting than only being good at super damage. Hunter arc and void 3.0 got 0 new build potential.
-
Arc did Void didn’t really
-
Void didnt give hunter anything new and remived A LOT
-
Yh I agreed on void the kit build is clunky and the melee is utter -blam!- They need to remove the cooldown on stylish execution too

Edited by G0lden Hunt3r: 9/1/2022 5:21:18 PMAnd glaives need to work with stylish execution.

lol, this isn't borderlands

Still no downsides 👍

actually, if you could melt both Champs with one super it trivializes the activity. why bring in two others if you can just solo melt everything with your super? option 3 is to stun both Champs, res your buddies while they are stunned, then proceed to melt both Champs with your fireteam.
