warlocks are not the damage class, stop trying to make them that
I assume you're the same type of clown who says "Titans are meant to be the tank class."

Yeah but being tanky is not the same as being a tank. And honestly, I find Arc Hunter to be a lot more aggro than any Titan Class atm. Asssassin's Cowl and Liar's Handshake pretty much make you immortal.
As long as they fix the Cross Counter bug

As long as they fix the Cross Counter bug

That’s fair, but I feel like the solar titan can play extremely aggressive without much worry for taking damage as well. Even stasis titans with the pve build I started running. Also, no offense, but how does being tanky (absorbing damage from ads so that others don’t die) not make you a tank? If you’re purely talking about pvp, then I guess Titans are indeed not very good at being tanks. But in pve, I feel like they certainly are.

I definitely agree, Solar and Stasis Titan feel strong when built right. Throw on a Glaive and you can literally take no damage while guarding. The difference between being tanky and being a tank is a matter of role vs capability. A tank is a role. The role of a tank is to hold the attention of the boss/mobs in order to prevent the rest of the party from taking unnecessary damage. There is no way in Destiny to actually tank, because there is no way to hold the enemy's attention effectively. You can shoot them to get their attention, but after that the second someone else shoots you've lost that enemy's interest. Being tanky just means you can take a lot of damage.

They aren't the anything class. Nova warp can out clear storm caller. Cataclysm nova can outdamage chaos reach, and track - and has exotics to improve energy regen. Void has faster movement than arc (the supposed faster element). Nova warp can zip around. Void has blink (which should be moved to arc in my opinion). Solar has icarus dash and zippy speedy boy dawn blade. And solar has burn AND healing. Nothing about arc makes it worth using in comparison to the other classes. And I'm saying this as someone that used to be a chaos reach main.

Ferus LuxBuilds are an illusion. - old
Why can't that change? What if all classes could have strong support and damage options? I was always a supporter of Hunters getting support abilities and even a new support class ability and likewise, Warlocks need a buff for Nova Bomb and Chaos Reach 👍 -
Thank you! I’m a warlock and I agree that their not the damage class. And I use chaos reach.
-
Who is the damage class ?
-
Hunters and titans do more damage than warlocks. They have exotics that buff their supers. I don’t believe warlocks have any.
-
I don’t believe warlocks have any.
Geomags extend chaos reach while doing damge so that is essentially a damage increase.
-
Oooooh. I’m gonna check those out.
-
Is there a helmet for nova ? Or is that just super energy
-
Just super regen stuff
-
Obsidian mind would return super energy on nova bomb kills. But that was D1, and Nezerac’s sin just gives you increased ability energy on void kills.
-
Ability regen is literally all any of the warlock helmets do.
-
Skull of dire does in d2. Up to 50% return but requires nova to kill like 15 enemies
