I keep getting these errors like crazy
Im on a wired connection to my router and I don't know what's going on
I keep seeing way to enable open NAT but that is ridiculous and a risk I do not want to take for a video game

1 ReplyIm having this problem too. Can play for like 30m or so and then contacting servers pops up twice and then weasled. Started happening after the hotfix on friday for the raid

I may have the beginning of an answer. Even if you have fiber optic (wired) at home; the connection may be too unstable on your wifi. In fact, destiny does not support network changes of at least 30mbps. If your connection, like all those we have here I think, varies by 10 mbps, the game will not be impacted. vut from 30 destiny will « block » connection to their server and give you weasel/centipede errors. I tried everything to make my connection more friendly towards destiny, I opened the ports, I also offloaded the bandwidth, I opened the firewall (as they suggest on bungie help). Nothing worked. On the other hand, I wired my wifi box to the Xbox using an RJ45 category 6 ethernet cable, and since then, I haven't had any error messages and my game is ultra fluid!

I've been having the same issue for like a month. I switched to Wifi with my desktop and don't seem to be getting weasel kicked anymore. Why that is, I have no idea. I tried buying a new network switch and it didn't help. Try WIFI for awhile, I guess.
