Here’s what I think of strand and my opinion on why darkness and light subclasses are opposites

So strand on first inspection it looks like fun and has a lot movement potential and I think it’s gonna be real fun to use Tldr part: I see strand being a opposite of how say arc works in a idea/play style level as opposed to the elemental opposite Now the second part I said this on a different post but I feel that the darkness subclasses is not elemental opposites but rather idea or play style opposites What fo I mean by that well let’s start with solar and stasis these two at the idea level are opposites aside from ones fire the others ice. I’m referring to the way they play solar players can heal and radiant themselves but also do the same with others making solar a more solo team player subclass while stasis (while having a little team play in its fragments) is more focused on solo play as in set it up right and most of the biggest benefits are rewarded to the solo player Next let’s talk arc and strand. Why strand? Firstly since arc has gotten amplified which gives s speed boost and other effects with fragments most of these fragments mainly help the solo player as in yiu can’t amplify another play by getting ionic traces (not without help from an exotic) but while it does stuff like blinding and jolts in the grand scheme arcs main play and idea is another the solo player. Now with very limited info on strand I can only guess until more info is given. But I seems that strand is more leaning to the team play style like solar but again need more info to see what’s going on. Now the last light subclass is void which is all about solo/team play with with surpresions, volatile and weaking which can be used for both solo and team play now whst would a darkness opisite be? That’s the question So yeah while it’s not poison like we thought at the end of it there’s still a opposite of darkness and light subclasses just in a different way at least that’s how I see it

  • I'm still laughing when people said "Gravity" was going to be the next Dark Subclass. 😂. They actually believed it was going to be the opposite of Void or Arc. Because Stasis has a byproduct which is Ice...then thinking it was because of Solar. 😂
