To get the Twitch emblem, guardians were required to link their Twitch and Bungie accounts and watch 30+ minutes of the livestream. Easy enough. However, for those of us not used to Twitch’s inventory system, we were unaware that we needed to follow another step to get the emblem. Many assumed “inventory” meant our in-game inventory.
What’s worse? There was a deadline to redeem the reward that was way too short and never mentioned to us! Why have such a strict deadline on something harmless like an emblem?
Hundreds, if not a thousand or more guardians have this issue. We qualified for the emblem and can still view that notification, but missed the timeframe to redeem it in the Twitch inventory due to confusion of communication, having notifications off, being busy irl, etc.
Bungie, I hope that due to overlooking the communication error and setting too quick of a timeframe that you would rectify this and actually give the emblem to all those who were eligible, not just the ones who are familiar with Twitch’s interface.

14 RepliesEdited by Guardian3564: 8/27/2022 9:31:31 AMI’m not familiar with Twitch’s inventory system either and I didn’t even watch the livestream. I had Twitch open while I was off at an appointment and when I got back, I was able to claim the emblem by following the on-screen instructions. If people were unable to claim the emblem, it was probably because they didn’t follow the instructions.

2 RepliesYou fell for a dumb marketing ploy, you're better off now. Or go grab your "It's Not Fair" picketing sign and hit the streets!

2 RepliesI never even knew about it from Bungie till after the stream. My clanmates told me in Discord. Where was Bungie letting is know in its announcement TWAB leading up to it that there would be an emblem for watching on Twitch? At the end of the day its an emblem I'd never use, but proper communication is key and this should be a learning experience for them to give valuable information to interested parties.

Think the majority couldn't give a -blam!- about emblems

Day of Seven is the best emblem anyway (:

GrundleBeans, I assume you are the moderator who moved this. Why was this forum post moved away from Help when I have another one regarding this issue still in Help? There are other posts regarding this issue still in Help that weren’t made by me, so why was this one moved? I tried to private message you, but I’m unable to message anyone because I get an error screen saying “this service has been put out to pasture”. All I want is my emblem, not to have my cry for help shuffled around so less people see it.
