Well it cannot be done on the same platform. The only way is cross save but it saves progress beetween various platforms (Steam, PlayStaytion, Xbox, Stadia, Epic Games). You cannot use crossave beetwen Steam and Steam account but you can do it for example Steam and Epic Games (which is PC platform too). So conclusion is that if you want to transfer your sons progress to his account it cannot be Steam account. Best way to do it is just to tell him to make Epic Games account and link it to your Steam account via Cross Save which can be done there: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave.

Edited by MrDubiel: 8/26/2022 4:51:33 PMI read it. In my post I said that his sons progress can't be transferred to Steam account but can be if he create an Epic Games account. If he links his Steam account and his sons Epic Games account (if he makes it) his progress will be on his "own account". But of course transferring progress that it won't be on his Steam account is impossible at this time.

His son plays on his account. Cross save is not an option as that also sets his account to cross save.

Son - was playing on Dad account, now has his own account. Dad - wants to know how to transfer Son's progress to his account. If I undersand Dad doesn't play on his Steam account in Destiny 2 so where's problem?

Can you show me in Ops post where he said he doesn't play?
