Please refrain from creating multiple posts on the same subject, as you already received the correct information in response to your first post on the matter. As per Bungie policy:
Players who purchase Silver (or have Silver added to their account) cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased or added.
Edited by I XeroLuv I: 8/25/2022 9:24:28 PMCan you make my xbox account my main cross save account because I made a mistake?
-
No, that cannot be done. Please read through the article I linked previously, as it covers everything.

Edited by I XeroLuv I: 8/26/2022 1:42:14 AMIt was just a simple mistake. I mean like now I can't play the game on my main account for 58 days and all I want is to not disable cross save but just make my xbox account my main cross save account. Like destiny is pretty much the only game I play and I just would like my cross save account to be my xbox one with my 1572 hunter.
-
That is a service that Bungie does not provide any longer. They did at first but to many people messed it up and they had to withdraw it. Must wait the 58 days then disable. If you wish to enable cross save again after an additional 90 days wait you can do that.

I deleted my steam account would you guys be able to remove it?
-
Edited by bob734625: 8/27/2022 8:36:05 PMI am not a Bungie employee. Did you delete the steam account that is locked up in the cross save currently? If you did you must get access back to that account from Steam. Deleting that account will not remove it from cross save. Bungie cannot remove accounts for any reason or disable cross save before the time counters have expired. If you delete an account while it is actively cross saved you will be stuck with that cross save setup forever. You do not want to delete any of the accounts that are in involved with cross save. Every account in cross save must be authenticated to disable/enable it.

I Just don't understand why Bungie did this bc there are people like myself that just made a mistake with cross save and now we can't get onto our main accounts.
-
The process is very well laid out and is user friendly. I'm on my 2nd use of cross save my Xbox characters are being used on PS5. Enabling and disabling cross save cannot be made any easier I'm sorry you chose the wrong setup I wish you had come here and asked for assistance before going through the full process wrong.
-
how is it user friendly if you have to wait 90 days after purchasing in game currency that is literally helping them make money XD maybe they should have like some warning instead of having to go in the the FAQ.

Edited by Spawn: 8/28/2022 2:28:57 PMHi, There are many warnings in the cross save setup page. Here are all the screens of cross save setup. - The 90 day lockout is mentioned 4 times - Help links are included 4 times - Silver lockout is the first checkbox that you agree to on the final page with a specific button just for Silver help. There is nothing that can be done and you will have to wait out the remaining time since you accepted all the settings. More information in the Cross Save Guide.

Edited by bob734625: 8/28/2022 8:39:37 AMWhen it asks which set of characters do you wish to be your main. How could Bungie make that question any more literal and to the point? You stop and think hmm I wish to use my Xbox characters on PC or Playstation. Then you tell the cross save I wish to use my Xbox characters and you follow the remaining instructions till at the end it asks again is everything setup correctly before you hit the final confirmation to set it up. But people don't read and fly through it and now we have these issues. Best wishes to you fellow guardian.

appreciate the help.
…..maybe they should have like some warning instead of having to go in the the FAQ.
There is in fact a warning regarding the silver purchase policy, during the cross-save activation process. Whether players choose to read that warning, is not within Bungie’s control. Also, the FAQ is on the main page for cross-save, making that information readily available prior to clicking the “Get Started” button. The specific section reads as follows:
What actions can limit my use of Cross Save? The following actions will impact a player’s ability to enable or disable Cross Save: - Players who disable Cross Save cannot re-enable Cross Save until 90 days after it was disabled - Players who purchase Silver cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased - Players who perform a refund for purchased Silver cannot activate Cross Save until that Silver is re-purchased for that account - Players subject to a ban or restriction cannot activate Cross Save, or disable Cross Save if already active, until that ban or restriction has expired
Welp then I don't know because there was no warning for me and I read everything.
-
Bungie didn't do anything. You set up cross save wrong not them. They had a system to help but people abused it. So now everyone has to wait out the mandatory lockout For silver and deactivating cross save.

Yea wish I could call someone.
