Its weird because controller has become the preferred input method on PC (if what M&K users say is true). The game on console has also gotten a little different, or more than a little different if you play it a lot, to where you can really get a lot of nuance out of messing around with the sensitivity and controller settings, maybe even more so now than you could when they very first put the sensitivity settings in the game. So who knows.
Depending on how you look at it you could say that mixing the whole player population doesn't reeeeeally matter that much? And that's for multiple reasons. But having the ability to have the option to have movement and stuff like that on console be closer to what it appears to be on PC combined with the fact that being on PC is not an automatic win for a lot of players that play on that platform could be a good thing overall. It could also be disastrous but there's really only one way to tell for sure.
So whether we wanted it or not its not necessarily automatically a bad thing.

It’s already fixed

That's cool. It probably would have ended up in the disastrous column if they kept it. What I was talking about had more to do with the question of how much the people playing PvP are even really doing in the first place.

totally true, but old gen is soo behind with fov, AA strenght etc etc

That's true but it could possibly still be better overall. Its probably just an accident but for me having played basically nonstop the entire time it just really seems like now some of the issues that it would have had before aren't as big of a deal as they would have been. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly but when they very first announced crossplay I think they said they wanted to have everyone in the same player pool. And I remember thinking that was not a good idea because of some of the differences. Even last year with the matchmaking and some of the things that that was causing I wouldn't have thought it was a good idea. But basically since WQ came out the game on PS4 just seems to be performing so much better that it could possibly be less of an issue if it was done basically perfectly. CQC with M&K would probably be the biggest issue in terms of PvP that I could think of now whereas before there would have been multiple things.
