You sure it’s 18000 days? If so, that’s not just simply a restriction.

when i have appealed they reply with "We do not overturn restrictions like the one indicated in your appeal. If your account is on a temporary restriction you will need to wait until the restriction expires on its own. Your ticket is being closed. Do not submit duplicate appeals as they will not be reviewed. Please note that submitting duplicate appeals or help requests that violate the Code of Conduct may lead to further restrictions from the Help Center contact forms, Bungie.net community sites, or Bungie games." but its 18,586 days.

You have a ban. Not a restriction.
-
for no reason. i wasn't running any sort of injectors or cheating software for any game.
-
You claim it was for no reason….but Bungie found reason to ban you. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be banned. End of story.
-
yep it is i can show you if you have discord or anything i cant drop images here.
-
And it is certainly not for connection.
-
thats all it was for unless someone was cheating in my game and i got banned as result for them cheating.
-
Does your game show “not so fast”?
-
it does and i believe i stated that in a different reply, ive also appealed to bungie prior to anwaering all of these replies.
-
Then that’s a ban…not a restriction. And it almost certainly wasn’t for your connection. Most bans are given for: Using cheats. Running unsupported programs (even if not for d2) such as trainers, mods, hacks, etc. Certain debuggers. Software that injects code.
-
i wasn't running anything of that sort though?
-
You (or whoever you let use your account) had one of these programs running or being used.
-
Not if for 50 years! Unless OP has been restricted multiple multiple times in the past so Bungie decided to upgrade their restriction to a ban.
-
I wish they would handle it that way. Unless they have changed their approach without telling anyone, that shouldn't be the case though.

Edited by dc213baseball: 8/24/2022 1:05:10 PMIt’s in their policy that restrictions can be upgraded to bans for repeat offenders.
Restrictions are temporary, and may not be overturned or undone before they expire. Permanent bans are the result of escalating restrictions for the same behavior or for extreme violations of this policy.
Ok, I never realized that. Last I heard/saw was them saying they do not do permanent restrictions or bans for connections. They previously did the warning, 2 week, 2 month, permanent PVP restrictions. They came out around Beyond Light and said they were no longer doing permanent restrictions for connection issues and would just continue applying 2 month restrictions. I've also never heard of them banning from all activities due to connection. My understanding is that you only lose access to PVP activities during the restricted time frame.
-
they didn't give any warning in game for restriction in side of activities for me and my wifi which was new to prior being restricted from them, they blantly restricted me over that i dont cheat on any platform at all nor do i cheat on destiny. so they just straight up "banned" me i guess? i don't even want to start over at this point,
-
It wasn't because of your connection if you are banned...
-
then why would i be banned all that was happening was connection errors and being removed from the game world and reconnecting and then i was banned.
