I think True Vanguard has a good point to make in that sniping in pvp has become very stale, with most of us sniper mains now having to spec into aim assist and opening shot // under pressure // no distractions in order to lock down lanes and snipe through flinch with watermelon sized bullets. The problem is we lost the aggressive play style. The rapid fire archetype would be a good way to keep the best of both worlds. Want to lock down map control and shut down supers? Run a 72 rpm. Want to be aggressive and spec more into handling? Run the rapid fire. Currently, the archetype does nearly scout rifle damage if you hit the body, and you only get one special bullet per kill, making it a complete waste of special in the current sandbox. As for the double body shot shenanigans, guardians will no longer be able to chain this back to back because double body shotting a guardian only will drop one bullet. Over the course of time, the necessity for rapids to be dealing less damage has faded, and I believe the nerf should be reversed.
