is there any intention to re-introduce Drop Mag back into the game? I really enjoyed the reload speed.bonus from a magazine perk.

It got.... dropped 😂😂

1 ReplyDoesn't roll on any new weapons, but if you had old ones with it they will still have the perk. it still works to drastically improve reload, but now reduces mag size as a tradeoff since reducing overall ammo capacity no longer matters for primary weapons. Really nice perk on some weapons if you're lucky enough to have kept a few.

It still drops on certain old weapons even on non sunset weapons but yea bungie abandoned the perk because of it's low usage but this was before we got unlimited primary ammo in which was the greatest weapon update but I still don't see it coming back

Drop mag my beloved. I actually loved that thing on my Kindled Orchid.

They changed the perk penalty, don’t see why they couldn’t. Strong perk on guns with huge mag sizes or ones where mag size doesn’t really matter.
-
It's on my vouchsafe. Sorry everyone, I took the last drop mag.
-
1 Replywhat, don't you mean spray n play
-
It got dropped.
-
I dropped it.

I have it on some guns I still can use and man it’s a great perk. With outlaw on a last perdition it’s funny how fast it is. Also weird that the mag has a 2 bullet burst count wise

7 RepliesProbably deprecated because it was a give and take perk. The downside was you wasted the ammo in the mag and lost it from reserves. Now there is no primary ammo to be picked up as it's infinite reserves. The game uses other means like Elemental Capacitor, and loader mods to build into it.

I still have it on a few sunset weapons

Was removed because of infinite ammo and a bug with new perks.

No. Drop mag won’t drop on any other weapons. It was depreciated when primary ammo became infinite and changed to reduce mag size instead on weapons that already have it.

Drop mag was great on suros auto side arms. I miss it
