I kind of have a worry about the Juggernaut shield returning. In D1 if I remember, you either had to choose between Juggernaut or being able to shoulder charge. In D2, shoulder charge is a melee, and Juggy is an aspect.
This would mean that someone could use a juggy shield, and shoulder charge at the same time. Thus, removing the single weakness of going in for a shoulder charge.
When paired with peregrine greaves for a 1-shot, this would make shoulder charge/juggernaut a broken combo for pvp. I hope Bungie can look into fixing this, because I can already sense the community hating on Titans again. If it means anything at all, I myself won’t be doing this, because I main solar for pvp anyway. To all of you who will, I hope you crutch on it hard enough to where you forget how to play the game by the time it’s nerfed.

Chugga chugga, Choo choo! shoulder charges are coming for you!

4 RepliesY'all mad because we dont won't hide behind those worthless barricades anymore...get off the rails and adapt.

3 RepliesJuggernaut will be the #1 complaint on these forums in about 3-4 days, with blink hunters being the runner up and riskrunner being 3rd. You heard it here first.

Titan Punchy Punchy.....

24 RepliesLet Titans get some PvP love. They are the worst class in crucible right now.

1 ReplySurprised they brought it back.. was horrible in the first game …

Its basicly gonna be pre nerf sholdercharge + mk 44. That refunded half your melee on kill. Only now you need peregrine greaves with juggernaut that use your baricade and melee. Yea its so OP and definetly is gonna be a problem /s.

Also flux grenades. Let that sink in for a second.

3 RepliesEdited by DiZ: 8/23/2022 1:34:41 AMOne key difference between then and now is that both are tied to cooldowns (class ability and melee charge), whereas in D1, either could be used indefinitely. Plus, if I'm reading it correctly, the new grounded Thruster evade is a new class ability as well, so you won't have the best of both (all?) worlds. Arc 3.0 will definitely be potent, but I don't know if it'll be worse to play against than Void 3.0's launch.

Well these days it’s all about making titans and hunters the go to classes while ruining warlock so this seems right in line
-
It’s gonna be something. Idk why they would bring it back when it caused such a fuss in D1.
-
Wouldn’t the cooldown of shoulder charge and loss of mobility be the tradeoff? It’s pretty long even with max strength. Shoulder charge right now is a poor MELEE ability without peregrines for its risk/reward profile. It’s a decent MOVEMENT tool but useless during a fight as a melee because of the sprint requirement.

SlingshotNerdStormcaller 3.0 is not good; needs buff - old
Striker is going to be such a massive issue in PvP it’s not going to even be funny. Watch they’re eventually (hopefully not forever) going to nerf Striker Titan into the ground because of this overloaded kit. -
1 ReplyEdited by kellygreen45: 8/22/2022 3:47:19 PMI’d like to say “Don’t worry. Bungie would never make that mistake again…”. But I can’t. Bungie just refuses to accept that overshields are game-breaking in pvp. I don’t get it….
-
5 RepliesI think it will have a long cool down timer and not much health for the shield. It will also take your class ability when the shield is gone.
-
+ Stand Asides giving you overshields, it might get nerfed pretty quick. Expecting it to be abused in the first week, but we'll see just how effective it is.
-
7 Repliesbruh this this is what you worried about? I can do better Juggernaut + shoulder charge + MK 44 stand asides or Juggernaut + antaeus wards + glaive
-
Titans have barricades a one hit kill move a fast defensive super. Yet they air dodge back.
This would mean that someone could use a juggy shield, and shoulder charge at the same time. Thus, removing the single weakness of going in for a shoulder charge.
Not only that but more. Mk.44 Stand aside + Juggernaut + Shoulder Charge = 2x Overshield and Melee charge. Why do you think Bungie removed the OHK from shoulder charges? So that strong combos like this become possible.

10 RepliesDepends on the health of the shield. I imagine it'll be around 40 hp to match Bastion, which, while annoying, would at least have precedent
