The series of over nerfs have made this ability usless. Where at the moment it might be the worst ability to date. The knockback is near non existent that pocket singularity does everything hhsn shouldn't do but 3x better. The charge time is so ridiculously long for something that no longer one shot let alone does anything. You have to run a shitty gernade which offers not very good usage just to charge it into something worse.
It's crazy warlocks lost two ohks which one really isn't a ohk. Hhsn no longer one shots and atomic breach was stripped away and can no longer be paired necrotic grips to ohk low resilience guardians.
Shoulder charge was hit two yet it has better usage and more then one. Yet you can slap on greaves and you are good to go.
But hey for some reason it's okay for hunters to keep throwing knives a ohk paired with an exotic that does all the work for you.

13 RepliesOhhhh no hunters kept the only OHK that isn’t anywhere near meta and requires a modicum of skill. They also have a crappy exotic no one runs that requires crits before hand so the crappy knife can one shot 🤦♂️

7 RepliesYup, another ability turned to trash tier. I don’t think bungie is ever going to buff this grenade unless they decide to give hunters hand held grenades too. It seems the only times warlocks will ever get trash tier abilities buffed is when hunters get it, just look at blink. Blink is a perfect example, warlocks asked for a blink buff for years and it took hunters getting blink again for bungie to finally buff the jump.

It's so annoying that warlocks are the only class without a ohk, especially after having one for so long. But hey, as long as hunters can one shot with their stupid knives, it's all good.

I haven’t seen a handheld supernova in seasons. It’s so stupid, because it was good against shotgun apes, but now it’s a useless ability.

Yeah HHSN needs some help. Mag grenade is strong in PvP w Verity’s Brow (even without it a 185 damage grenade with a decent cooldown is crazy) and is pretty solid single target damage in PvE. Having HHSN intrinsically apply Volatile could be good, or maybe just tighten its grouping. My issue is that half the time it’ll hit for only 90-110 damage when I could do a lot more just chucking a grenade without the charge up.

I had a buff idea where they could take away the self damage and if you charged it and throw it at your feet you could jump extra high or you could throw it at a wall behind you it’ll propel you forward very fast -

My only problem that I want to be resolved is why is it gated to magnetic grenade? I want to use scatter grenade with it not mag, this is why I think skill applying to abilities is a really dumb notion because you make them very ineffective or unnecessarily risky in another of situations. Just make it apply to all grenades and make it a separate aspect even if it's 1 slot but being gated to mag nag is why it's not used. 150 to the face followed by an additional 60+20 is 1 shot and can happen very quickly. You could spam it if you use controversy but that's alot of work to replicate what we used to have.

11 RepliesImagine saying magnetic grenade is bad when it near 1 shots and is impossible to miss with Magnetic nade + weakening nade is 185 damage. Literally a sidearm shot from 70 meters will kill anyone after that. After 1 void weapon kill with verity's brow equipped your magnetic nade kills pvp players . Magnetic nade has better tracking than gjallerhorn.
