81 RepliesHopefully they add sbmm to trials soon :)

1 ReplyI have to comment on this, and please dont judge me on that one, but trials is only for the Best pvp players. Im not one of them so i know what you suffering through, but if you wanna get better just play elimination it has sbmm and you will get matched with ppl on your skill Level. I mainly play trials to play against really good teams to get my game awareness a little up i already have a pretty good shot and aim but my game awareness is dog -blam!-... Just know that in trials you will Not get handed out wins you have to work for it, and if you dont want to, then just accept that you will get stomped every game... Just wanted to say that.

1 Replybecause bungie cant do simple things like this right
-
1 ReplyBecause Bungie has trash MM and an inability to balance the lobbies. Truth.
-
You should get better
-
3 RepliesBecause trials is a tournament and not a league.

1 ReplyEdited by hate n payne: 8/23/2022 12:36:01 AMBecause wannabe league players need their fix and you are it. Trials being introduced to Destiny was the biggest L for the game. We went from casual to casually competitive with much less skill and a whole lot of cheese. There is a reason why the minority and streamers run the same exact loadout and play-style. Just copycats with no individuality and some basically are scared to truthfully live that “competitive” lifestyle they preach on about with SBMM. Played Trials this previous weekend and any match that was 0-5 was boring and toxic. The 3-5 or 4-5 matches were super fun. I am more than cool with losing a match if I gotta compete with others who play to a similar skill as I but to compete against players who live, breathe and sleep Trials is silly. I rarely play Crucible even now and it is much less with anything 3v3 related due to how scary players are with gunfights. I say change Trials from Elimination to Survival without a timer. Telling someone to “get gud”, where if the majority left the playlist, that same verbiage would show karma real quick in the minority who plays the game competitively. Majority players are needed in the game than minority players and people need to comprehend that logic. There are many ways a player can entertain the game naturally through a competitive means as it has everything to do with changing your behavior of play and loadouts for a more individual competitive experience. This means remove every single sense of comfortability in your gameplay. I run off META due to how competitive, fun and diverse in nature it is.

Because you don’t get better playing someone who makes the same mistakes as you. It’s only when your mistakes cause deaths that you’ll begin to question why you made them
-
4 RepliesBecause they couldn’t find anyone that bad.
-
Because streamers get their jollies
-
Trials by design doesn't work without cannon fodder to feed the top brackets.
-
5 RepliesBecause the twitch guy and sweats taking advantage of you worth more to bungo they even admit it, the most common argument against posts like this is "oh well trials isn't meant to be fair" You shouldn't get matched like that and they know, they just don't really care
-
Same reason why i got matched with -blam!- ColdChill on my last game need for lighthouse. Shitty match making. Dont know who cold chill is? Lookem up. Least i killed him 3 times and got to bag him once.
-
Because you’re not allowed.
-
If you’re playing for the same rewards as everyone, you should play everyone

LThou art of passing skill. - old
Trials (IMO) will never be big enough for this not to happen unless they drop the best loot in the game from trials that meta defining -
2 RepliesBecause streamers want to play against players like you for easy carries. Twitch views and subs = money = streamers promoting the game. Bungie have most of the larger streamers in their back pocket, sure they appear to be non-biased but for the most part they are the biggest fanboys and fangirls out there.

Because pvp is horrible right now.
-
6 RepliesCause it's random. Literally. You can be a new player, playing your 1st match ever, and cbmm will match you against 3 million crucible kills veteran, just cause your connections are a good match. Senseless and brainless stuff.
-
4 RepliesBecause pvp is so dead there’s only like 70 players playing while you’re on trials Pvp is dead as hell. It’s not even a top 20 played game… Ouch
-
2 RepliesMultiple Reasons. Main reason is the playerbase in Trials is too low but other reasons include. - Not enough players at higher win brackets so the system expands to find players outside of that bracket. - The meta is and always has been stale and if you don't run the meta guns/builds on the particular map of the week, you're gonna get absolutely canned and drug out but teams who do. - Not enough "low skilled" players to fill up the pool of possible match brackets so you get stuck with the "high tier sweats" - High skilled players resetting cards at 5 or 6 wins so they remain in the lower match brackets to make carries easier. - Not enough incentives for low or mid tier players to warrant playing Trials in the first place so they don't bother. - It's the end of the season so nobody really remains in the playlist except carry teams, people who actually enjoy the Trials grind or people just trying to get rank xp for engram hoarding so they can get lucky and hit the new weapons next season so they don't have to play Trials.

I salute your courage posting this statement on a forum with so many legitimately awful people on it. Your willingness to express a valid if controversial opinion by spray painting it on a dumpster full of radioactive waste that is on fire is inspiring.

4 RepliesPlay comp to play similar skill players. Then progress to win rumbles. Then you’re ready for endgame.
-
8 RepliesBecause the whole point of Trials is to bring your A game and A team and hope you make it. It’s literally designed to put you up against any and eveyone, including the best. Bungie has told us this. It’s why they were against using MM and solo ques. Because this isn’t your normal pvp. That’s why it’s the end game pvp activity. Just like there is a big ole difference between a regular strike and a gm strike. It is not a fair n balanced mode. It’s not for casual or even the mediocre. Typically, people put in the effort and time to get better and have a solid pvp team for hard activities. Asking for a red carpet hand off is weak sauce.

just that an honest answer as to why i cant get matched to players in my skill zone to get better ??
Because to go flawless means your the baddest mother fer if you can't beat them you don't deserve it
