I was reading the aspect lore book and I am not sure how I feel about it lol. On page six it has a paragraph that’s kinda terrifying that says “but the vex in the garden? They bend the knee to the gardens heart. It gave them power till you got lucky. The vex outside, they made a different calculation. They run but the vex inside make the same deal you make, every day of your unnatural life. And who’s to say that deal won’t start paying off for them again anytime soon?” Um that whole page is very concerning implying the distinction of the vex in the black garden and the normal vex which are both terrifying but also vex with para-causal energy is the worst thing that can happen. Anybody think this will be explained upon later in the seasons?

6 RepliesVex with paracausal power was the bogeyman of base D1 campaign. The Stranger guided us to the Black Garden to stop the Vex there, the Sol Divisive, from gaining the power of the Black Heart. According to Elsie, once they gained that power they would be able to immediately attack us and destroy the Traveler. So yeah, paracausal Vex are supposed to be even scarier then the Darkness cause time abilities. Hard to say. Not sure if Bungie is going to really dive into the Vex now or wait to use them as the Big Bad after the Dark and Light Saga.
