When you turn in Bounties, you currently only get generic XP for yourself that's used for the Season Pass as well as the Artifact. I feel like if each Bounty also granted Faction XP based off where you got it (Vanguard, Gunsmith, Crucible, Gambit, etc.) it would help a ton of players out since it would help reduce the amount of Grinding that needs to be done since not everyone can play all the time for hours on end. This was already a thing in Destiny 1 and has always baffled me as to why it never returned. It doesn't even need to be that much XP per Bounty, just enough to feel like it helps out a bit.

Bounties used to give Rep for who you got them from, until Bungo decided "nah, make the grind longer'
-
That takes away from the 'content' and the 'hours' and 'matches' people play.

They need to overhaul the bounty system first, then change to add rep. Bright dust is alright but the xp dies off in the first couple weeks you play for the new season.

SwatHere since 2008. Yup, I'm old. - old
Previously they did, but Bungie changed that. -
2 RepliesBounties should just be completely removed at this point. They serve as a crappy additive that's not worth the effort put in to complete them. I'd scrap them entirely if it was solely up to me. Seasonal Challenges though? A lot more lucrative for XP and depending on the seasons content offers something maybe worth doing.

For gunsmith we could hand in weapon parts for rep. It wasn't much extra for the bounties but it still was something. I think the gunsmith got hit the hardest with there being no way to speed up reputation gains. At least with playlists we get weeks with double rep points.

Edited by CookieNiki: 8/15/2022 5:40:48 PMBut then you'd take an eternity to level up the season pass and you'd have to grind EVEN MORE to get all the rewards until level 100.

They used to, but they removed it and significantly increased rep gains.
