My brother can't play Destiny 2 because his game says Banned but Appeal email says Restriction two times. Why is that? Restriction is like a Timeout, Ban is permanent

4 Replies“Restriction” is the outcome of a ban; your brother was banned and therefore his access is restricted. Nothing about the definition of “restrict” or “restriction” implies it is temporary. According to the ticket response, your brother appealed a ban, the case was reviewed and the ban was upheld, that trying to appeal again could potentially violate the CoC, and that that maybe someday it will be re-reviewed but until then, it is what it is.
