I started up Destiny 2 and I just see a character creation screen. I double checked everything and I 100% meet all of the criteria to have had my character transferred from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2 back in August of 2017 .
Will I be able to see my old character if I just create a new one?
Or is something going wrong here?

3 RepliesAllo there, Unfortunately it's well past the time for characters to transfer from D1 into D2. All that transferred was your appearance, no weapons or armour were transferred and you'd get slightly different dialogue.

1 ReplyIn your previous post (that received an answer), https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/261534745 , you said "I have had a level 32 Titan on destiny for Xbox 360 years before the transfer cutoff in August of 2017 I have also migrated my character to destiny 1 on Xbox one, I'm not sure when I did the migration from d1 on Xbox 360 to d1 on Xbox one." As was mentioned in that post, you had to have migrated from Xbox 360 to Xbox One prior to the cutoff-date. In this post, you're now saying you're sure you did so. As was mentioned in that post, if you do not currently see your characters when logging in on Destiny 2, and are using the same platform ID you used for Destiny 1, then your characters were not eligible to be imported. They cannot be imported now. They will never be imported at this point if they weren't already. The import was a one-time import done on a specific date, and any changes to your save data made after that date will not allow another import. You'll need to create new ones.
