I was in the Derelict Leviathan and then crucible and I guess the postmaster deletes your oldest items, not the newest ones. Turns out my oldest item was a stack of 10 ascendant shards I was saving for Arc 3.0. I wasn't aware of this and I could've easily lost 50 enhancement shards as well, maybe there should be some kind of fix for this? Not sure, it was a lot of grinding and it just seems like these items shouldn't be grouped together with common items and destination materials of all things. Oh well, had no idea it was full anyways and it's definitely super unfortunate, easily a week or even weeks of grinding for shards lost because I sat in a destination too long doing triumphs

Postmaster is (and has always been) operating on first in first out philosophy. If you are storing things in there that you don’t want to lose, then you need to keep it managed at all times between activities.

1 ReplyHi uber over, Information regarding the Postmaster can be found here.
Once a Social Space has been unlocked, players will gain access to the Postmaster. If an item is not collected before returning to orbit or proceeding to an alternate destination, it will be sent to the Postmaster. - Items held by the Postmaster may be lost if not manually retrieved and stored in the Vault. - Items are discarded from the Postmaster when accruing over 20 "Lost Items" or deleting a Character. - Bungie does not replace in-game items that are lost, or discarded.
