How does stasis feel right worth it right now compared to the reworked light subclasses.

Yes, hunter, warlock, and titan stasis feels good.

  • Warlock is great. Little to no changes needed. Titan is powerful but requires a lot of investment, maybe a few changes. Hunter is really the only one I’d call bad, it definitely needs some changes. Honestly, though, reverting Renewal nerf in PvE would be a very strong start and definitely greatly increase its value. The Stasis subclasses are good but we’ve power crept the game to the point where controlling enemies with blinding and slowing and freezing is mostly unnecessary. We kill everything so fast we don’t need it.

      • I’d like warlock to be able to make shards without having to use an aspect. (For well builds.) but other than that I think warlock is fine. Don’t play the others enough to know.

          Main Titan - Fun before progress - old

          Ehy Guardian. I play mostly as a Titan [i](currently only with it because I don't have much spare time)[/i] and in this period I'm playing with a Stasis Build in PvE that runs around the Hoarfrost-Z Exotic Chest piece and I have to say that it is pretty good. I can spam Stasis Crystalls and Barries all around and make a lot of damage by shattering them. Meanwhile I get damage reduction while I stay close to them and Stasis Fragmets are counted as Elemental Wellls. Also, Adamantine Lance is basically almsot on the field and by using a Stasis Weapon a can generate it by simply killing an enemy with it. It is good both for stop enemies that for deal damage. I was also surprised by the damage output of the Super. I remembered it wasn't that good but I had to think again after a couple of tests.

        • My PvE hunter build is my favourite build. Low mobility tank with renewal grasp spam (firepower etc), tracking shards giving overshield and charged with light and 10’s in resilience, recov and discipline. Never die and always have damage resist. The resilience changes made hunger builds quite difficult as dodge is tied to so much but this and low recov void devour build are my two future proof (not tied to seasonal mods) builds.

          • Maybe a touch up here and there, but I think Stasis is criminally underrated right now, but I'd attribute a lot of that to New Toy syndrome and that the two reworked subclasses have had crazy Artifact mods that oversell their appeal

          • I think it needs an update after arc 3.0. Light 3.0 all have 2-3 supers. Also multiple melees, and grenades. Only 3 to pick from with light gets like 6 or whatever. Then melee only has one option. Stasis is now behind the light 3.0 updates I do think with the right build, it can be fairly strong, but in terms of balance, it has less then the light side.

            • Warlock with double stasis turrets is in an ok spot, handy for GM etc.

              • Just fix the damn cold snap grenade ai. You can get the grenade within two of three feet of a group of enemies, and 2/3 of the time it locks onto a pebble or some crap in the complete opposite direction.
