I heard from a few people that you can play with mouse and keyboard on stadia and matchmaking will pair you against console players still, if this is true it explains why some trials games were so one sided
Does anyone know anything about this being true, if so hopefully bungie can look into it, as trials is broken if people can do this.

I crossplay on stadia sometimes when I'm not at my computer and let me tell you stadia has a lot of input lag. No one in their right mind is going to play trials on stadia.

Its true. But as a Stadia player, trust me. Anyone who is trying to play on Stadia with a M&K is giving up the advantage to you. IOW, the experience of playing on Stadia with M&K isn't like playing on a typical PC version of the game or on a console. The reason is because the game isn't being run locally, its being STREAMED to the player. So everything you add that's between your input and Google's servers adds (input) LAG. Which means that the player's response time to in-game events is slower. So if you're using M&K, that mouse click had to get transferred to the computer (wired or wirelessly) then has to interact with the computer's operating system. Then interact with its network card...then get transmitted to your router...then your modem...and then out to Google's servers. All these steps take time, and slow down the M&K player. So much so, that playing the game this way doesn't feel very good. The optimum way to play on Stadia is actually with their controller. Their controller is designed to BYPASS all those additional, lag-inducing steps. It connects directly to your router (wirelessly), then to your modem and right to Google servers. So the person who is going to give you the toughest game on Stadia? Is going to be the guy who understands how this situation is different than playing on a PC where the game is running locally....and is using that wireless controller. When you do that, the game feels like playing the console version of the game with a wireless controller. Which is why Bungie added Stadia players in with console players...and not PC players. Because it would have been the PC players who would have had an insurmountable advantage if Bungie hadn't done this.

It's true. But I've only run into 3 stadia players since crossplay launched, and they all bottom fragged. Stadia has a very small amount of players. For example today the overall population in pvp is 290k, only 1.1k of them are stadia players.
