Rewards not working - repeated error saying "please update your email preferences".

My email and SMS are both verified and my Bungie account is linked to my Playstation account and it shows it's verified. When clicking on a reward to redeem it, I get a notification to verify the email settings even though I have done that over and over.

  • Greetings! I’ve seen that other players are able to fix this by doing the following: 1) Go to [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/User/Account/EmailSms]this page[/url] (Email/SMS Settings). 2) Uncheck all of the email preference settings. 3) Save your settings. 4) Re-check your desired email preference settings. 5) Save your settings once again. 6) You should be able to claim rewards now, the page may need to be refreshed.
