Complaining again about the dire promise nerf

Bungie knows 13 zoom is too little for any primary weapon in this game, this is evidenced from the SMG buffs they just put out. Nerfing dire promise’s zoom has basically made the gun fall far behind the minimum of 33 metres for a hand cannon to be truly competitive in this meta of 34-35 metre plus 140’s. I won’t even hear the argument that the ex 150’s are meant to have less range than the original 140’s because of their higher handling stat and reload. After all waking vigil is in the exact classification of hand cannon and has kept its 14 zoom stat intact. Both can roll rangefinder except dire goes from 13-14 and waking goes from 14-15. I can’t see how this is logical. Bungie didn’t even announce they were doing this too. It simply doesn’t make sense. Is there any knowledge out there on why this was done as it’s basically taken one of my favourite hand cannons in the game and made it unable to compete in the current sandbox unless I’m on a map like anomaly which isn’t exactly often.
