I love how you cited a weapon that was sunset & resold to us in D1 lol f2p has nothing to do with it. Game devs often reuse assets, & with D2 releasing content basically every three months, it's harder for them to do the same things that they only had to do once or twice a year in the D1 days.

Literally every strike exclusive weapon was a year 1 weapon with a shader & bad perk rolls attached. All the faction gear was year 1 gear with faction stickers plastered on them. Every year 1 exotic was sunset just to be resold in TTK & ROI (pocket infinity was just sunset & never brought back). Any of this jogging your memory?

You're losing the plot. You said sunsetting was done right in D1 because they gave us a bunch of new loot to make up for it. I said that's demonstrably false, & my replies have been demonstrating why what you said is objectively incorrect. I never said how I feel about it, & I don't care about how you feel about it either. I'm strictly referring to the objective truth that most of the "new" loot in TTK were greens & blues. Most of the endgame loot (legendary & exotic) was just reskinned year 1 loot.

Not really. It was the gunsmith weapons, the raid gear, & swords. That along with a few new greens & blues was all the "new" gear, & the rest was year 1 gear with new shaders & decals smacked on em.

Also Taken king added 33 exotics to the game, you probably think D1 is better then D2 if you are arguing basic facts like this or that Kings Fall is how raids should be

Base D1 did not have many legendaries, you always saw people running around with Raid weapons (because they made you max level) and you would probably see a few legendaries like (my first one was do gooder IV so ill use that as a example) do gooder IV, when taken king came out it expanded the amount of legendaries you saw because it added more, a infusion system (bad at the time). Being upset that pocket infinity didn’t come back and that your fate bringer wasn’t usable in new activites doesn’t mean that it was bad then. This argument was about how Taken King did it correctly, D2 sunsetting removed more guns then it kept, that didn’t happen in D1. You are the one refusing to see reality, go and look up how many guns were added
