I really like the naming concept. I have a couple of questions: 1. Can Ado's be corrupted? Affecting their mind to be to be less and less innocent, embracing the negativity of hatred and stuff. 2. Are there alot of them? 3. Will the players actions and in-actions change the shape of how the two heroes see the world, as they progress the game. - Not simply a choice but based on how much you want or not want to help the people around you. - Though it might end up having only a small effect. 4. I just imagine at some point an evil guy making a pact with an Ado but instead simply taking the power for itself and his name simply being just his name-Crushing the Ado's one out of existence 5. Is it possible to put a positive spin on Necromancy? - Though I suppose It would matter what you are summoning. Maybe purified souls of corrupted versions of foes, you defeated or something. - And they have quick snappy comments/Short conversations based on the fights you summon them in. I very much like elements and then combos of those elements! Unsure about the whole Mine idea. Though I imagine how the characters work the Mine will be used for Ado-Hyman puzzles! More reward for corrupted versions later!

  • I was originally going to call the project “Adeleine”, and thought it was funny for Leine to be given a “holy title”, and then going like “Can you don’t?”, and thus getting called Adeleine instead of Ado-Leine. But then that title sounded like some sort of horror game, so I changed it to Crystal Cross, and just never edited the part about Ado-Leine out. Basically, in the first dungeon you’d meet another Spark-Wielder, who’d help you out throughout the dungeon & whatnot. He’d reach the boss before you, though, and fight this giant Corruption monster, and he’d lose. His Ado would get Corrupted, and join sides with the monster, creating the boss of the dungeon. Upon beating the monster, your Ado would purify his, but doing so destroyed it completely. Without his Ado, he no longer had any magic. Throughout the game you’d meet other Spark-Wielders as well. About 6-7 at most, but probably more like 5. There would be no traditional sidequests, but each Spark-Wielder would have their own questline. While the contents of each questline would vary, one constant will remain between them; if the choices you make along the way lead them down the wrong path, their Mana Spark will be Corrupted. All Mana Sparks are predominantly good, and all magic comes from them, so all magic must be good, too, including necromancy. Tbh, the only reason I made them is because I wanted you to be able to switch between Ado & Leine.
