"Wow. That's the first nice thing I've heard out of her."
He gets up and exits his room.
"Well, best say goodbye to everyone, just in case."
He starts searching for Fukua.

-
You find Fukua wandering the halls of Amaterasu's Gift. She looks wary, and battle ready, so she's likely patrolling the perimeter. Her battle ready stance softens slightly as you approach, and she greets you with a wave. "Hey." She says, plainly. "Don't worry, nothing's happened since before. Seems we either took care of all the cultists, or they've been ordered to hang back for some reason."
-
"Well, if they're hanging back, I hope it's because Venus is stupid. I just wanted to check in, see how things are going before I leave to stop her."
-
“If it’s because Venus was stupid that’d be a blessing. Unfortunately, it probably means she’s just planning something. I bet it has something to do wuth those vines; all the ones I’ve seen lately have been blue.”
-
He frowns. "I have a hard time scratching those. If she is that far along in transforming this place, then we have a worse situation than I thought."
-
“Yeah, it’s not looking great. I hear we got some sort of weapon against them—Rho should have that for you—but I’ve also heard that it won’t be able to take care of them alone. Still, the entire city hasn’t exploddd, yet, so there’s that.”
-
"Regardless, I'm going to make sure she doesn't make it out alive. Anything short of death for her is an injustice compared to how much violence and chaos she's stirred up."
-
"Yeah, don't worry, I'm pretty sure everyone's with you, there. Even Aifos wouldn't try offering mercy to one of the Trinity. She wouldn't accept it, even if you did." Fukua let out a deep breath. "I just hope we can kill her. Definitely won't be easy. She's going to be resilient as all hell."
-
He gives her a salute. "Ma'am, she's going to the grave if it's the last thing I do. This is a fight I must see finished. I should go and attend to business."
-
“Well, good luck, then. If I get a chance to help, I’ll do what I can.”
-
"Much appreciated. I hope to see you later." He trots off to find Lambda.
-
Fukua gives you a casual salute as she returns to her duties. It doesn’t take long to find Lambda, who was also patrolling the hotel. As you approach, she stops, as if expectant of you to say something, but doesn’t speak up herself.
-
"This could very well be our last talk. I just have to say, it was nice to make your acquaintance. You are one person I can respect."
-
Edited by The First Aifos: 11/19/2021 4:55:18 AM"Respect is not required." Lambda said in a monotone voice. "However, I shall take your compliment as an acknowledgment that I have been performing my duties sufficiently, and to that end I assure you that I will continue to do so. You do not need to worry about this being our last meeting. Venus is a dangerous foe, but in the event that you fail there are contingency plans in place to evacuate as many people as possible--which should also include yourself. As I am rather essential to those plans, the probability of this being our final chance to speak is very low."
-
He shrugs. "Maybe. Maybe not. Goodbye, Lambda, and good hunting." He gives her a salute before leaving to find Theta.
-
"Likewise." Lambda said, before returning to her duties. You eventually find Theta in the Observation Deck. She was there with Tager, sitting on a bench. She still looked rather shaken, but despite his brutish appearance, Tager seemed to be doing a good job of keeping her calm. Aifos and Kokonoe were in the room, as well, looking over some computers. Kokonoe seemed to have dozens of different screens, all filled with a lot of incredibly complex jargon that you couldn't make sense of. Aifos had a map, with several red dots moving across it, and some not-great cameras that seemed to match up to their positions. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine he's overlooking the security drones.
-
He looked into Theta's eyes solemnly. "How are you holding up?"
-
She looked up at you, with a sad look in her eye, but didn't say a word. Tager spoke up, quietly, in her place. "Unfortunately, she still hasn't been speaking. She's been as well as she could be given the circumstances, however."
-
He nods. "Thank you, Tager, for taking care of her and the others. I shall endeavor to ensure that Venus breathes her last today, and that you leave here alive."
-
"You don't need to worry about me." Tager said, pushing up his glasses. "I'm Kokonoe's top soldier for a reason. I wish you luck on taking her down. She hasn't filled me in on the specifics, but I believe Kokonoe has some sort of plan up her sleeve while you're dealing with Venus, so we'll do our part down here, as well."
-
A grim chuckle escapes his lips. "Well, perhaps I'm just the diversion. Theta, stay safe and Godspeed. I hope that our next meeting is under more agreeable circumstances."
-
“Perhaps, but don’t worry. Kokonoe’s not one to blindly throw her troops away. If you are a distraction, she probably has some plan to help you escape, as well. Unless you’ve upset her somehow, but as far as I’m aware you haven’t. In any case, I wish you luck.” Theta quietly nodded in agreement.
-
"Aifos. What do you need me to do?"
-
"Well, for once it's pretty simple." Aifos said. "We've done everything we can to prepare. We just have to find Venus, and take her down. We're going to send you along with Rho and her soldiers in first. I'd much rather them stay out of it. You'll get some reinforcements, though, don't worry."
-
"Any backup plans?"
-
“We’re working on that part..” He let out an unusually long pause before continuing. “Don’t worry, though, we’ll make sure to get you and everyone else out of here if we can.”
