To be honest I don’t remember seeing to many of them. I know I have, but I cannot recall many.
Personally I think it could be cool if done right. Not really to wrap up a large amount of story threads, but just to see how the characters are doing afterwards. Show there is more to the characters and worlds besides the main story.

That seems to be the general consensus. Unfortunately I’m out or responses to that note besides that, so here! Have a like!
-
Take back your like and give me a mechanical beholder! Enough with our games, give me the mechanical beholder and we shall flash forward to a ending! Or else, I will have to use slot of references on you!
-
I told you, Chase Yarn has it! And my Gills of Hamachi! Here, pinky promise. After Schools of Magic/Convergence Point/WhateverIRenameIt I will host an RP to hunt down Chase Yarn, and get it back! And get back my Gills, too! But only after Schools of Magic! Can’t hunt down Chase Yarn before meeting Master Monk Nyan. That just doesn’t make sense!
-
Fine. Fair enough, I accept. But thou better be wary, ere thee wish to be on the receiving end of my many references. No deception. Although, what are these magic schools you speak of? I happen to be a wizard myself you see.

You have my word! I was actually planning on it anyway, with the title “Chasing Yarn”. Because that’s funny. And robot cats. Ah, Schools of Magic is the RP I’m gonna make once I finish Aria. Players will be stripped of their regular powers, and instead be taught the 9 (actually 10) schools of magic; Doublelift! Hexawan! Kinesys! Hearth! Miseri! Anima! Glimmer! Slashfik! Phalanx! (And Convergence, but that one’s illegal!) They’ll take a class on each type, and then be graded based on their understanding of each Focus, and those grades (plus modifiers from loot) will determine what spells they can and can’t use! Then, they will use these magics to fight a threat that falls over Violette City! There’s gonna be branching story paths, sidequests, fun loot, and MAGIC!
Aifos, I hath just acquired newfound respect for thee that I did not know was possible. That is amazing, Chasing Yarn with robotic cats! To bad I am allergic. As for the other things, I would love to participate but I am usually to busy to do so in larger events. Plus Holmes doesn’t sound like the guy to lose his magic. Although, he would gladly learn more. As Warlock Holmes has many Clones, Similacrums, and images projected across the multiverse through multiple settings, perhaps he would create another or learn mysterious magic. But perhaps I just use another character. As Holmes was really changed to be more of a high level NPC to participate in the high level events but the power of offtopic grew around that same time and I kept using him as a main character just to keep up.
It’s not the first thing I did with robot cats. I did Days of Future Cats in the past, and Chasing Yarn will be loosely connected to that. It’ll be brilliant!
As for the other things, I would love to participate but I am usually to busy to do so in larger events. Plus Holmes doesn’t sound like the guy to lose his magic. It takes place during the Violette Festival, where everyone essentially gets “free trial” classes on all the schools of magic. The villain then comes in, and everybody loses their power. So, if the allure of new magics is enough, you wouldn’t know you lose your other powers in advance (and of course you’ll get them back after). Time actually wouldn’t be an issue, as it’ll be one of those “neverending” RPs, where you can take as long as you want, and new players can always come in (don’t worry, Chasing Yarn will be after the first wave complete it, so it’ll still happen despite the “neverending” nature). So, as long as you were willing to keep going inbetween your breaks, you could keep playing.

I do remember seeing that but I don’t think I participated in it. At least I shall see robotic cats later, as I do want my beholder! Ok, that makes more sense. I just don’t know if Holmes would go anyways, as he l spends a lot of his time monitoring for more powerful threats and I would probably like to use other characters. But perhaps he would send one fo his Similacrums or Clones. But, to be honest, I forgot which Holmes is the real one! I used to distinguish them by their cloak and robe colors, but as Holmes army of himself grew bigger and more mere physical in the background I kind of lost track. The real Holmes may even be dead! Im not sure. Really I did a lot with him in the shadows, mainly with Ringleader and Watson. That’s much better. I don’t like non-infinite roleplaying post just due to scheduling. I may respond slower but that will still work!

Eh, problem for another day.
Ok, that makes more sense. The only requirements for characters who can join is that they have to be willing to exclusively use the magic provided for the course of the RP. You seem fun to RP with, though, so it’d be great if you join! If nothing else, I bet you’d be willing to put in the effort to try to understand the different Focuses of magic—which is the part I’m mst worried about. I’m not sure most players will.
That’s much better. I don’t like non-infinite roleplaying post just due to scheduling. I may respond slower but that will still work!
Same. I’m not the best at replying fast myself. I’ve started going my own pace on the latest part of Aria, slowing it down dramatically, and it’s been much less stressful. I just hope my players feel the same way. :p
