i mean timeskips are really nice since they make things a little more real. i think theyre inherently a little worse since normally the ending happens immediately which means a series of important events lead up to that one point at the end making it more exciting

Well, if your buildup doesn’t pay off, then that just means the skip was too early. Assuming we get a proper climax, and the timeskip serves as a denouement, is it the same opinion?

What I was getting at is that I would prefer a shorter burst of action with a straight ending over a more gradual period where the story builds even at the end but timeskips can still be cool I guess it really just depends on what the situation calls for [spoiler]I fear my perfume has worn off before our meeting tonight...[/spoiler]
