These are things that exist in my limited experience testing it out:
1. The streak bonus for strikes goes up all the way to 135 points per strike. That is the maximum for regular playlist strikes.
2. There is no visual indication for the streak anywhere in the game. Your only way to know about it and its status is to complete a Vanguard activity. Edit: apparently there is, it is just barely noticeable when hovering over the Vanguard node in the Director.
3. The streak bonus is binary: it either exists or it does not. What this means is that when it gets reset, you go back to level zero, not lose a streak level like with other streaks currently in the game.
4. Gettin the JOINING ALLIES screen resets the streak to zero (I expect this is intentional to punish AFKers or anyone expecting other players to run ahead and pull them).
5. Doing anything other than going to the Tower/HELM resets the streak to zero. This includes landing in a patrol area.
6. Changing characters also seems to reset the streak to zero.
It is... Not great.

Running heroic NFs worth near 300 Vanguard points per run.
-
That's it's not correct it's 180..tested awhile ago.
-
Ehroar had the same numbers as mine which were near 300. If you run consecutive (same activity) it increases the more you complete. Check out his video on the seasonal rocket launcher.

I can’t recall the specific number except they were high 200’s. Other than ranking up the Vanguard again I’m not sure what other utility the consecutive streak might have.
-
At max streak my NF's at hero was giving me 292.
-
That's why my vanguard reputation goes faster, i only do 3 strikes for the pinnacle, the real grind i do is hero nightfalls wish Bungie allow legend with match making as well, leave just master to pre made teams, but that's just me.

Thank you for this.

Doing anything other than going to the Tower/HELM resets the streak to zero. This includes landing in a patrol area. 6. Changing characters also seems to reset the streak to zero. It is... Not great. 4. Especially good for when you get put into a strike late where the others are way above you even though you are searching normally 5. brilliant decision as usual 6. see 5 thats a good way of puuting nicely i would say its sh!t

Especially No.4... where you get those occasional solo guardians who just ruin everyone else's day by speed running the strike, believing the others are capable of keeping up with them. Oh, and then you get those strike speed runners on "Scarlet Keep" strike that: get to the elevator, activate the elevator, jump off the elevator, respawn on the first floor where the elevator hasn't reached, kill all the enemies and then leave because "WHOOPS, I SOFTLOCKED THE STRIKE AND REFUSE TO WIPE OR ACKNOWLEDGE ANY FAULT!!", forcing some innocent player in to their place.

There are multiple problematic areas like that in the strikes right now. Something broke in Broodhold with the advent of S15. When you first fight the witch and drop through the floor to the lower level of the strike, very often two guardians cannot progress. The only way for them to progress is to get pulled or whoever got through to wipe. If they do not wipe and instead pull the other players, the streak gets reset. Glassway has several barriers that pop up very quickly and unless you are quick, you will get pulled... And subsequently get your streak reset.

If you go into the Vanguard director node and hover over your reputation, you *can* see your current streak. So there is a visual indication.
-
Wow, I must admit that I never noticed that. The two places that I expected to see a visual indication of the streak were: 1. Underneath the Vanguard rank circular progress bar in the top left corner when queuing or searching for matchmade guardians. 2. Under character buffs on the character screen - where you have Prime buff, weekly experience buff, and manually activated consumable buffs. This is also where they displayed the streak bonus info in D1, if memory serves.

Just ran 4 strikes, each gave 60. This has been the norm for me, very rarely see 90.
