We’ll continue here, Alignment, so the replies don’t glitch out.
The creature winds up crashing into the lasers, and tumbling painfully to the ground. As it crashed into the floor, though, the floor reacted, and a wave of sharp spikes began shooting out from it like a shockwave.

-
Alignment retrieves his balls and forms a platform, riding on it like a magic carpet. Once he gets closer, he reaches for the wound he created and tries to pull it apart again.
-
You fly over the shockwave, landing next to the beast. It seems the arm has restructured itself, however, and the damaged veins have retreated underneath the others, preventing you from reaching them. However, it was still stunned long enough for you to launch another attack!
-
Alignment merges his balls into 2 and makes a more potent laser to saw through the arm like a lumberjack sawing wood.
-
Much like before, the arm was extremely resistant, and you only managed to put a small nick in it before it recovered. It pulled itself to its feet quickly despite its size, and its eye came out on its palm to scan for you. Once it had found you, it lifted its massive claw, to swing down on you like a gargantuam hammer. If the pattern held true, this would likely affect the ground in some way, too.
-
Alignment tries to uses his strings to swing out of the way to the other side of the creature. He then goes for its weaker arm and tries to cut off a long piece of it by using his sword configuration.
-
Your sword cleaves straight through the arm, severing it entirely. However, as the arm crashes into the ground it causes the floor to lash out in a wild frenzy of vines, immediately smacking you away. The creature roars, and scans for you with its eye. As soon as it finds you, it picks up its disembodied arm, and throws it in your direction.
-
Alignment tries to catch the arm with his strings and throws one of his balls at the eye. If he catches it, he tries to break off one of the fingers of the severed arm.
-
You catch the arm, and one of its fingers snaps off relatively easily. Your sphere doesn’t quite hit the eye, as the beast dodged away, but it provided a distraction, and it doesn’t attack you again quite yet.
-
Alignment tries to use his balls to trip the creature and jump on its back.
-
It seems to have grown wise to the tricks, and doesn’t let the lasers trip him again. In the commotion, though, it gets distracted and you manage to leap onto its back. Immediately it begins clawing at you, but with only its veiny arm left, it’s not quite flexible enough to reach you. It was only a matter of time before it figured something out, however.
-
Alignment surrounds himself with his balls to protect himself as he vigorously rubs the finger between his hands and on the creature, intending to make a fire.
-
You didn’t seem to be able to even get a spark going, but there was an unintended side effect to your actions. The other vines in its body began to react to the motions of the one in your hand, and as you rapidly spun it around, the body seemed to start coming undone. Within only a few moments, it had all but fallen apart, leaving only the glowing blue arm intact. The eye came out on the back of its hand, and frantically looked around, before trying to crawl away.
-
Alignment tries to quickly pick up the arm and places a ball in front of the palm and the back of the arm, forming a laser going right through it.
-
The laser pierces straight through the eyeball, and it slowly withers away to dust. The veins fell limp afterwards. They still pulsed, and seemed to be alive, but it didn’t move. Things seemed to be clear.
-
Alignment picks up the veins. Alignment: “Aren’t you beautiful?” He puts it in his pocket and continues towards the towers, making sure to wrap the cloak around him.
-
The arm is fairly bulky, and you can’t seem to separate the veins. While taking it with you is definiteky possible, it’d be rather awkward to carry around; did you still want to take it?
-
Alignment: “Stubborn, eh? It might look strange, but taking you with me will help us get rid of you sooner.” He decides to put the arm in his pocket, hand first, and continues on.
-
It’s way, way, too big to put in your pocket, but you manage to mount it on your back. Heading over to the wall you don’t seem to see a way through. However, you’re quickly interrupted by SAYU appearing next to you. “I’ve got a message from [Moderator: Aifos]!” SAYU vanished, and a hologram of Aifos appeared in her place. “We’ve got a situation. It’s Rho, she’s gone rogue, and heading for the SAYU-Core. If she does anything to it, we could be in a ay worse situation than anything Venus might have planned for us—I’m going to need you to change course, and try to talk some sense into her!”
-
Alignment: “It’s just one thing after another.” He dashes out of the Hall to get to Rho.
-
SAYU appeared in front of you. “Hold on! You’ll never catch up to her on foot! Let me help!” A pink screen appears in front of her, and she begins tapping some buttons. After fiddling with it for a little bit she lets out a loud “Boop!” as she presses one final button. A voice that sounded similar to SAYU’s, but not quite the same spoke up. “Lock override accepted. Heartbreak Subspace access granted.” SAYU held out her hand, and a heart shaped portal appeared in the center of the room. “This will be a lot faster!” She said.
-
Alignment: “...Not the strangest thing I’ve seen today, but it’s a close second.” Alignment enters the portal.
-
As soon as you set foot inside, you find yourself in some sort of cyberspace, falling towards what appears to be an ocean flashing several different colors. Soon enough, you hear SAYU laughing from behind you, and she suddenly darts pas you towards the water, her arms extended, as she spins through the air. “Heeheehee! It’s been so long since I’ve been here!” She says giddily, before splashing into the water. She remerges a few seconds later, and then grows three times her size before catching you on her back. “I am legally obligated to warn you not to touch the digital sea. The SAYU Corporation is not liable for any digitization that may happen as a result. Now let’s go!” Taking you along on her back, she happily seims through the air, skimming the surface of the digital sea, until eventually pointing into the air, creating another heart shaped portal. She quickly takes off towards it, shrinking back down as she does, and carrying you the final stretch by the wrists. You come out on the other side somewhere deep in the depths of the city. It’s clearly not a residebtial area, as the walls are covered in machines. SAYU lets out a giggle. “That was so fun! I don’t remember why [Moderator: Aifos] and I restricted access to [Location: Heartbreak Subspace]!”
-
Alignment slowly staggers to his feet. Alignment: “And that... is why... I don’t mess... with technology.”
-
“Speaking of [technology], [User: Rho-17] stole a bunch of [Moderator: Kokonoe]’s [tech], and made her own [militia]! There aren’t as many of them as [ERROR: User Unknown]’s forces, but be careful, okay?” SAYU swam across the room, towards an opening on the far side, where she poked her head out into a larger room. There, there were several men in black armor, with a white “P” hastily painted on the front. Depending on how well he was versed in Greek, Alignment might recognize it not as the English letter P, but the Greek letter Rho.
-
Alignment: “Militia? That doesn’t make sense. Who’s wearing the armor and how was she able to make it without anyone knowing?”
