There was much more to Saint’s story than the guy that got stuck in the Infinite Forest. He was also the Titan Vanguard and had the nickname The Kellbreaker which he got from killing a Kell by head butting them. His entire character is an analogue of the Templar knights of history. He went on “righteous crusades” to crush enemies of humanity. It’s not that he is evil or bad but whenever there is conflict there are always two perspectives. The lore piece is showing you what an immortal being of unquestionable strength and ferocity would look like from the eyes of his adversary as he single handedly tears through your ranks.

In twilight gap he pretty much slaughtered them. (For good reason.)

    • Saint-14 went on a crusade against the fallen after a the battle of six fronts. It is known he had found Sekris in a remote fallen settlement.

It was told that way by Misraaks because when you look at it from the Eliksni side, it can be perceived that way. Saint-14 undertook several crusades against the Eliksni prior to disappearing on Mercury. He personally killed the Kell of House Devils by headbutting them (Saint-14 Grimoire Card in Destiny 1). Even when we were time-travel visiting Saint-14 in the Infinite Forest, he was fighting Eliksni there, rather than Vex. For the longest time, Saint-14 was the greatest enemy of the Eliksni. The really only involvement Saint-14 got with the Vex is that he got stuck in the Infinite Forest and the Vex attempted to destroy him, where all attempts failed until the Vex specifically constructed a Unit attuned to Saint-14's Light, which then drained his Light, finally enabling them to kill him after he killed another thousand of Vex.
