Alignment, we’ll go from here to prevent the replies from glitching.
“I don’t think so. All that blue fire reminds me of Lamia, but if she were here I think we’d know. I’d bet she summoned an aspect of her or something.”

-
Alignment: “What can you tell me about this Lamia person?”
-
“Not a whole lot. She’s the head of their pantheon, I know that. The other two gods they worship are supposedly her daughters. I know she tries to entice people with some sort of magic demon heart. She used it to possess Aifos a few years ago.. He could probably tell you more, but he doesn’t really like to talk about it.”
-
Alignment: “I don’t think he has a choice. If he knows anything about this at all, he needs to share. This ‘Lamia’ person, or at the very least, her followers, can manage all of THIS in such a short amount of time. Whether we win or not, it won’t be long until this situation ends.”
-
“You’ve got a point. If you can get him to talk, I’d like to hear about it, too. He just suddenly disappears 7 years ago, and then shows up again as a weird robot and would hardly say a word about what happened. I guess that’ll have to wait until after we finish dealing with Aubrey here, though.”
-
Alignment: “And what about this place. Granted, there’s not much we can do, but leaving it here might not be a good idea.”
-
“Unfortunately, tearing down an entire tower is probably a bit out of my skillset. Given what we’ve seen in here it might just grow back anyway. Hopefully Grandma Koko can think of something to do about that. We have to be careful, though, because if we get rid of the garden, there goes out oxygen.”
-
Alignment: “Then we’re already at a major disadvantage. We need to find Aubrey before she pulls something like this again.”
-
“Yeah, I’m with you. Let’s take care of her quick, then! She can’t be much further; the exit to the tower is right there!”
-
Alignment: “Then we move now!”
-
“Mert you at the top, then.” Fukua said, her hair tendrils taking the shape of spider legs, which she used to climb up the walls.
-
Alignment once again uses his balls to make an elevating platform to catch up with her.
-
Once you both reach the top, you find Aubrey sitting on a blanket, drinking a cup of tea. She looks up at the two of you with a warm smile. “Care to join me?” She asks, pouring each of you a cup.
-
Alignment: “I won’t be drinking that, if that’s what you’re asking.”
-
“I figured as much. Still, why don’t we just sit doen for a chat? Take a break from all this fighting?”
-
Alignment: “Fine then. I’m sure you know that this expression of hospitality doesn’t change your situation anyway.”
-
“Of course. If I was trying to get out of this, I’d either be trying to escape, or I’d appeal to the president himself. I’d just like to rest a moment is all. Besides, I’m sure you must have some questions for me, don’t you?”
-
Alignment: “I do, but I doubt you’d answer all of them. Let’s start with the elephant in the room. What is this fortress? How’d you make it?”
-
“A handful of magic seeds. They grow extremely fast, and I can control them by moving the water inside. It was either that or try to make a fortress directly out of water, but liquid soldiers are a bit harder to fight with. Not quite as solid.”
-
Alignment: “So your only effective choice was to recreate Jack and the Beanstalk? Pray tell, who did you have to sell your cow to in order to get them?”
-
She let out a slight chuckle. “Please, I don’t deal in livestock. The seeds came from the Trinity themselves, though. A gift to help me complete my mission here, should I get caught, which unfortunately you managed to pull off.”
-
Alignment: “And what exactly is this ‘Trinity’? I’ve never been given a proper explanation and now I’m starting to get the impression that it’s a cult of sorts.”
-
“Aeon, a goddess of time. Venus a goddess of space. Lamia, their mother. They used to have physical forms an incredibly long time ago, until Aeon and Venus were murdered by the demon Sekhmet. Lamia is the only one still able to materialize directly in our world, or so the story goes. A cult may sum it up well enough for our purposes, but it’s not that secretive. Anyone can join. Or could, at least, before the church burned down about a year ago. You’d have to travel quite far to find an active place of worship, now.”
-
Alignment: “So they’re gone, yet you said you got it directly from them. This Lamia person must be no joke. I assume since Aifos has some... negative history with them, you’re here to kill him and everyone he holds dear, yes?”
-
“I suppose I did, didn’t I?” She lets out a chuckle. “But no, we aren’t here to just kill Aifos and everyone he cares about. Tell me something, have you noticed it yet? Nobody down here is happy. Not a single person. It’s rather pathetic, isn’t it? Everyone came here trying to find something that they were missing in their lives above. Companionship, the approval of their family, a new start, an adventure... That’s all they are, the PFDs. Aifos thinks he needs to save something—to fix something. He’s still obsessing over the mistakes of his past, and he thinks he can find his redemption down here.” She lets out a quiet laugh to herself, and picks up her tea. “I doubt you even know what he did, but here he is, trying to play hero for a threat that doesn’t even exist.” She paused, and took a sip of her tea. “Everyone came down here to find their dream, but what is there to find down here—what is there really?” She lets out a sigh. “Not much, as it turns out. My goal isn’t to kill everyone Aifos cares about—not yet, anyway. My goal is to crush his dream. Snuff out that obnoxious little glimmer of hope in his eye. In a sentence; I’m here to play the bad guy. Besides, all this is what you’re here for too, isn’t it?”
-
Alignment: “I came here looking for a break. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s what was advertised. Instead, I find myself in between the crossfire of a man wanting a second chance and a cult wanting the approval of their icons. So yes, I’m starting to see what you mean by there being not much here.”
