Blaze gets a small smile. “Hehe, yeah yeah yeah, I’ll make sure not to kill them.”

“Very reassuring.” Kokonoe said sarcastically. “You’re lucky we’re short on hands. Get going then.”
-
Blaze nods, and heads to the gardens.

Edited by The First Aifos: 5/16/2021 3:34:14 PM
Did you need a summary of anything up to this point, or do you think you’ve got a grasp on it all?
You and Fukua move down tothe Grand Hall, and it’s immediately clear something was off. The aqua tunnel to the gardens was sealed off by a barricade, with the Divine Trinity logo painted on the front. “Well, at least she’s not trying to go unnoticed anymore. It probably won’t be too hard to bust this thing down.”
-
I think I’ve got a grasp of it!
“Want me to break it down?” Blaze asks
-
“Take your best shot, VP.” Fukua said, standing by to see what youcan do.
Gah, you responded too fast for me to slip my edit in. I’ve got another question, though; if I were to post a little side adventure taking place between Parts 3 & 4, do you think you’d be up to participate alongside Part 4, or do you think it’d be more of a distraction? Geo had a fun little adventure after Aubrey attacked and I was thinking of extending it to everyone.
-
I’d be up to participating in that as well!
“Aaaaalll right.” Blaze walks over to it, shifts his hand into a claw, and swipes at the barricade as hard as he can.
-
Cool. I’ll let you know if I go throygh with it.
Your claw pierces the metal, causing a large slash across the structure. It wasn’t enough to break it down, but Fukua assists in your attack, sending several tendrils of her hair into the holes and pulling them apart so you can get through. Entering the gardens, though, things weren’t at all how they were before. Hideous thorny vines grew up from every inch of the ground, forming a massive palace of plants. Aubrey notices you come in, and stares down at you from the peak. “Sorry about the mess.” She mocks. “I wasn’t expecting guests so soon.”
-
Blaze nods. “Mhm, mhm. You’re veeery lucky my wife isn’t here right now.”
-
“Oh, no, I’d love to meet her actually. It would be quite a thrill to see you desperately plead for mercy as you’re forced to watch the life get sucked out of her.” She lets out a quiet, sinister laugh.
-
Edited by Nightmare Tune: 5/16/2021 3:55:03 PMBlaze lets out a growl, and has shadowy tendrils form behind her. “So....we can’t kill her, right Fukua?”
-
Your shadowy tendrils only last a few seconds before slowly dissipating, leaving you feeling drained. “Oh my, how scary.” Aubrey mocked, leaning on the railing of her fortress. “If you want to dance, I have some friends who would love to meet you.” The ground in front of you begins to shift, and several vines began crawling out of the ground, tangling around eachother to form four roughly humanoid shapes. Water crawled up from the dirt, covering their surface before getting absorbed into their insides. “Uh, I think we’ll have to leave Aubrey for later. Looks like we’ve got company.” Aubrey laughed, and walked out of sight, as the creature in front roared at you.
It’s up to you how much you want to work with Fukua for these fights. You can try to coordinate your attacks and work together to take them all down together, or if you want to do your own thing, I’ll split the enemies and have Fukua do her own thing “off-screen”.
-
Uhm....let’s split the enemies
Blaze looks at the four creatures. “Uhm...think you can take two Fukua?”
-
“Yeah, I’ve got it.” Fukua said, lashing out her hair and striking two of them. They immediately began going after her. The remaining two began running for you. One of them formed a large sword of vines in its hand, and lifted it over its head to swing down towards you.
-
Blaze tries to roll to the side, out of the way.
-
The blade comes down, and strikes the grass at your feet where you were just standing, however, it sent you right into the clutches of the other creature, who grabbed you with two hands of massive vines, that slowly began coiling around you.
-
Blaze tries sending a burst of electricity into the vines.
-
The hands retracted off of you, with several visible burn marks. The creatures didn't relent, however, as the one with the sword immediately began sending it stabbing towards you.
You should probably start sending some counterattacks in with your dodges. :p
-
Yeah I know.
Blaze tries to sidestep the sword, and slash at the sword wielders side.
-
Just making sure. I know some people have combat encounters where your attack and defense are on different posts, but I usually like throwing them together.
The thing brought its sword down in front of your slash, blocking the strike, but leaving a notable gash on the sword. It probably couldn't take too many more of those. The other one roared as you struck its friend, though, coiling one of its vine-hands into a large spike that lunged towards you.
-
Blaze tries to duck under the spike, and slash at the lunging monster.
-
The spike manages to catch you by the coat, carrying you backwards before you could slash. It lifts you up into the air, and then throws its arm down, smashing you against the grass below. It snarls, and holds it's spike arm higher, readying to lunge it down towards you while you were down.
-
“Ah!” Blaze sends a lightning bolt at it, and he tries to roll to the side.
-
Your lightning strikes it in what could loosely be described as a foot, causing it to fall forwards. You roll out of the way just in time as its spike crashes into the ground. Having used it to keep itself from falling, it dove its spike deeper to the ground than it intended, and it struggled to pull it back up, leaving it open to an attack.
-
Blaze jumps and tries to plunge his claw into its back.
