Should Bungie Improve Old Strikes Even If It Reduces The Amount of All New Content We Get for a Season?

No! Don't update old strikes whatsoever

Should Bungie dedicate development time to updating Destiny 2 Strikes to the high standard of Devil's Lair? Including:
- Armsdealer - Lake Of Shadows - Inverted Spire - Exodus Crash - Insight Terminus - Broodhold - Hollowed Lair - Warden of Nothing - The Corrupted - Scarlet Keep - Glassway - Disgraced
For me, "update" old strikes would mean massively increase enemy density, reroute some of the lackluster strikes (Remember the old Radio Tower in the EDZ from curse of Osiris? Perhaps rerouting Lake of Shadows to go through there), update strikes with engaging mechanics that an uncoordinated matchmade team could reliably complete, and re-introduce a proper scoring system that encourages diverse and high-octane gameplay, and update the playlist sound tracks with faster paced and intense music. I would be willing to pay $10 for a season that adds no considerable new content, and instead thoroughly updates the core playlists, including strikes, to the high standard now set by Devil's Lair. What new content would you be willing to sacrifice if it meant bungie could majorly improve strikes? Would you be willing to sacrifice any new content? Do you think the old strikes shouldn't be renovated at all, even if bungie offered it for free and hired a new team to do it, so as to not sacrifice any new content? What would "update" old strikes mean to you? New strike exclusive loot? Perhaps new weapons and armor at Zavala? Would it include major updates to how the playlist operates, such as re-introducing strike scoring? Would it mean recording new dialogue and updating old dialogue? Perhaps adding alternative enemy varieties and boss fights in strikes (anyone remember the Taken version of Aksor, Winter Archon?).
