Its actually a success when you see what Bungie is trying to experiment with. Mods matter, supers matter, finishers matter, teamwork matters more. It really brings a more dynamic approach to their stoic strike design.
If you want something more casual and mindless, just run through a normal strike then. We all know how boring strikes are.

Are able to have multiple subclasses builds? what about weapon choices? is it open or narrow down? Can you be aggressive or just only passive?

We use different armor/mod builds for different strikes. We also use different weps for different strikes. We use different subclasses for different strikes. Some use charged with light, others use the seraph stuff. Their are times you can push and times you need to play smart and slow it down. Some of this is dictated by the team and how good or experienced in GM’s they are. On lfg, each week their are typically 2-3 different ways teams run the GM.
