Saying “Not everyone can play in a group” is bs. Some things REQUIRE a group of players and should stay that way. If the solo player doesn’t want to LFG or join a clan, that is up to them. Most/almost all content is available for solo players, but things like raids, trials, and some quests require a group, which I think is fair. Destiny has always been made to be more fun with friends, so it does not bother me that a couple things are made for groups only.
The reasons are countless. By principle, there are just some things that a solo player won’t be able to experience. A huge part of WoW’s endgame relies on people playing with others to farm/run raids and dungeons. With Destiny, I’d say that they cater much more to the solo player than many other MMOs. So someone saying that “Bungie hates solo players” just seems flat out ignorant and selfish.
Ok, now that's a fair reply with fair points.
Let me just point out that Bungie strongly needs the solo players, that's why they must cater to them.
Also this game is light years away of being like WoW or even an MMO.
The game director said that this 3rd year that's what Destiny would be and just look at what they're delivering. If this is an MMO then Forza is a Kart Racing game.
Yeah i agree, but in response to the original post I don’t think there’s a problem with some quest (very few exist) being locked from solo players. Just like raids, trials, etc.
