Abilities were way too slow in year 1. Orpheus Rig Hunter was my favorite. The problem in Destiny 1 was that if they nerfed something in PvP, it was nerfed in PvE. Looks like that is still the case unfortunately

They have talked a lot about how pve is incredibly unbalanced at the moment with all the supers, power weapons and heavy and just generally super chaining. Now, these are issues in pvp as well but was made BECAUSE of pve. Both need tuning, and this is not a DIRECT response to pvp players complaining about balance. Many of pure pve players like Gladd and Datto and Esoterick have said themselves that it is all too easy in pve. Many changes that are coming is more for pve than pvp. PvP is (finally) getting some attention but is still not the main focus of this season.

What makes PvE easy for them doesn’t make it easy for everyone else though. They have well coordinated teams and can have a Well up 24/7 if they want. I’m lucky to even have more people than me using Well in my random strike and nightfall teams. Well of Radiance makes it fun to me and I think it’s fine the way it is. Supers in PvP do need an adjustment to keep from lopsided games because one team can chain them. So far, the only Super I hear people complaining about is Well, and one Super shouldn’t affect the regen rate of the rest from a PvE perspective.

This is the core issue I think. If you have a coordinated team, then the activity will be a cake walk. When you have to go on the forums to find a team or deal with matchmaking, it’s stupidly unfun and adds way more challenge. If the streamers want challenge maybe they should try playing solo only. They’ll get their challenge.

Nearly every need or change they are making is because of pve. That pvp is hurting pve excuse doesn't work in this situation.
