So i have 6gb VRAM on laptop and when i try play destiny 2 everything is in slowmotion :(
When i go to settings i see that game use only 1 out of 6 gb of my VRAM
(It is HP pavilion dv6 old model... smth like 4-5 years with Radeon ~7460m)
Can you help me with this?

1 ReplyThe 7460m is rated worse than the minimum specs of the gtx 770 in comparison. Even with that amount of vram your laptop is not rated to keep up with this game.

You dont have 6gb of VRAM. You have 6gb of ram. So you must have 1gb of VRAM

Edited by Bladewing: 8/19/2019 11:50:07 PMYour laptop does not have 6GB of VRAM; rather, it has 6GB of standard RAM. You only have 1GB of VRAM. VRAM is a specialized type of RAM that is directly connected to your computer's graphics chip. Regular RAM is much slower and is used for your entire system. If you want to play Destiny smoothly, I'm afraid you're going to have to move your render scale down and set everything to minimum. Alternatively, you may be able to configure Windows to use some of your system RAM as VRAM. I'm not sure if this will leave enough RAM for the rest of your system, though. It all depends on how many programs you have running.
