Problem reading game content, please close destiny 2, run

so, this error is one of the most anoying i have ever encountered, i have not found a way to fix it yet so the problem is when it says that and you do indeed scan and repair then if you take a look at the destiny folder you can see the "Packages" folder that it deletes random data and redownloads it, its defferent everytime sometimes it deletes 2 giga bytes, just now it deleted 12 giga byte and redownloaded, i tried to block battle.net from editing the folder, only read permissions. didnt work either. Bungie please fix this.

 • Hi LimitedTwix. Appreciate you reaching out to us about your issue. You may want to follow the below steps, which may help with your issue:
1. Completely uninstall both Destiny 2 and the Battle.net application 2. Delete the following local cache/settings directories:
– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC - %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net More Information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.

3. Reinstall the Battle.net app and Destiny 2
