I find it quite annoying how the only real "solution" to this problem is to only infuse once you reach max level. I thought the point of the game was to be YOUR LEGEND. To create a more badass version of you. But, if you reach max level, what is the point in playing anymore. The goal has been reached, so why keep playing? In D1, the most gratifying evolution of my character was in RoI. When I got the Days of Iron set for my Hunter, I stuck with it the entire expansion, and infused it with higher level gear. I never took it off. Low and behold, I get all of the armor with the ornaments and I feel like my character reached its peak in evolution. It feels like a crafted experience that was defined by the player. I went from a Hunter with leathery gear to a Hunter with fire on literally every aspect of his body. It felt amazing. That WAS my endgame.

  • That's not the only solution. Infuse when you are doing an activity that requires you to be at a higher light and you don't meet those requirements with your preferred weapons... at the moment tier 2 is the only activity we have that you need to be a higher light everything else is under 650. The only reason to hit max light is to have an easier time in the end game.
