This is my personal opinion. if your being banned for something that you did, you should be notified of the reason. even if its a blanket reason. I mean the software is picking this up when its scanning so its clearly aware of what its picked up. Blanket message saying
DETECTED: XYZ
that would be enough. Obviously, there are legit cheaters but then there are things that do not affect Destiny in the slightest. People do not read the T7C's they dont read about stuff like this its human nature. This to me is draconian. If your going to ban people, fine but at least notify them of the reason this is being done. Its not hard to implement before you say it is hard.... Its just lazy.
Thanks my opinion anyway

One of the main reasons this level of clarity isnt used as for those who develop the cheats, they can use this information to mask their apps if they are told the exact reason a ban took place. While it would be nice to see, there is always the shady side preventing it.

I get that, but games like Skyrim are popular because of mods and what not. if something like that was picked up (i dont play on PC so i never checked but using as an example) and i got banned for it, I would never know what the reason was that i got banned for and i wouldnt even think twice cause its somethingi have installed for Skyrim. Not saying this is even possible or what happens but if its remotely possible then things need to be elaborated. i also understand your point of view though. if they disclose too much information, people will only circumvent the system and find workarounds. Its a shitty place to be in either way

use of a mod for another game wouldnt necessarily cause an issue. the issue could* be if you were running these skyrim mods and they fall into the list of unapproved software WHILE running D2, that could be an issue. Best practice, if you use such items, make sure none run at startup, even in the background, and make sure you reboot if you have ran them before running destiny. I know it can be a hassle, but it will make sure nothing is running while you are running d2.
