Did not play one month, logged in today and saw "account is banned" banner.
I did not cheating ever, have no cheating software installed, did not use in-game chat ever, and did not do any actions which can lead to permanent account ban.
I have a mining software installed. I have a vpn enabled off and on. But who cares? This is my PC. Tell me whats wrong and I can decide if I should delete the game or the soft marked as "prohibited".
If Bungie does not say why I was banned, how I can be sure that it will be not banned with same "reason" if I create a new account?
As for now they just stole my money.
This is bullshit.
btw, Overwatch is ok with my setup.

If your software breaks their rules, they are not a petty girlfriend and give you an ultimatum, "it's us or them" they are going to enforce their rules. D2 detects what is running at the time d2 is running and if it is even a possible threat to d2, it sends the notice to SRT to confirm and enforce. Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific.
